Nah. Harbaugh has evolved slightly and only does that against teams like Rutgers. He may love the smash mouth footbaw but his game planning is fine against opponents worthy of respect.

Harbaugh is good coach but I'm skeptical of McNamara and scoring any points by running the ball. It's like Michigan Iowa but with roles reversed.

3 turnovers to 0. ypp was 8.75 to 6.1, though success rate was closer; 51% to 45%. That's not great defense yielding 85 plays and (though I'll rarely bring up time of possession) 40:15. The 3 turnovers came on a total of 6 plays in those drives.

They bought out a home-and-home with UCLA, supposedly to load the home game schedule with at least 7 games each year (since the B1G went to 9 conference games) - not sure if the UCLA series didn't line up correctly schedule-wise but I would assume so.

Added UConn and UNLV (iirc) late as teams willing to play a one-off at Michigan.

2022 and 2023 (East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green) are exceptions to the usual practice of scheduling at least one P5 OOC, Texas, Oklahoma and ND are booked for future years, as well as the return game at Washington.

^^^ This is actually a pretty good test of Harbaugh's ability to be adaptable and to game plan scheme according to the opponent. If he ends up trying to fade Sherman, so to speak, and gets routed ... that's dumb dumb.

This is boringly predictable. Georgia will stomp Michigan in an incredibly boring rout and then lose again to Alabama.

College teams not going to beat Georgia's D without an NFL caliber QB.
