I have lost count of how many offsides/false start/DOG penalties ND has because it is the stat of the game.

That and there is some law that ND has to go 5 wide on 3rd&3, 4ht&2 situations.

I wonder sometimes about the metrics of the situation Duke is in right now. Up 1 late, if you drive for a TD to go up 7, maybe going for 2 to make it a 2 score game and virtually close it out. Seems feasible, maybe more so if there is a great offense on the other side. Your own short yardage D would also be a factor in terms of stopping their 2 pt. try if you kicked the XP to go up 8.
