i heard less than three consecutive plays from the notre dame game earlier today
how concerned should i be about my broadcast exposure or am i just navel gazing?

A little topical application of alcohol should take care of it. If you'd had a full quarter or more it would be time to seek immediate medical attention.

Not sure about y'all's TV setups but mine has a remote control with a button to turn the sound off and on. That might help.

Not a problem for me yet this year (Day 1, you know), but if the tv is on while my wife is in the room there damned well better be sound coming from it. She doesn't really care what channel it is on or what may be streaming but there must be sound. It's really a pretty good deal for me, and I don't want to tamper with what is working.

My go-to is the channel selector or source button so those are definitely always in play.

Mine has a button that's supposed to catapult announcers directly into the sun but it appears to not be working. I'm going to go get some fresh AA batteries so that I'm ready for next time.
