Kansas St defense so brutal. With game tied halfway through 4th Just gave up a 80 yard TD on 3rd and 16. Guy caught a 5 yard pass on the sideline with nowhere to go, then juked inside and 6 KS defenders fell for it, and he cut back up the sideline and ran down the sideline untouched. So brutal.

Have a big parlay where every other leg hit that just needed KS to win. Bought some back at halftime, but should have bought a lot more. Game playing out exactly how I worried it would when I saw it was a blizzard.

Also had Florida +6.5 and I had Alabama U10.5 wins. Just one of those years.

Should be the playoff teams:

1. Michigan
2. Oregon
3. Georgia
4. Washington

What I assume will be the cfp rankings:

1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Washington
4. FSU

Texas needs to jump FSU for it to matter, anyway.

Kazzou got a reprieve with PI on 4th and 7. I have seen the whistle get swallowed about 5 times today in good weather.

CFP:

1 Georgia
2 Michigan
3 Washington
4 FSU
5 Oregon
6 Texas
7 Alabama
8 Ohio State

It seems extreme to drop somebody from 2 to 8 for losing on the road to the #3 team, but what are they supposed to do? Oregon, Texas and Alabama all also have close losses, much further away, against elite teams

Power
1 Georgia
2 Oregon
3 Michigan
4 Ohio State
5 Alabama
6 Texas
7 Washington
8 FSU

If I had a vote:

1 Georgia
2 Michigan
3 Washington
4 Oregon
5 FSU
6 Texas
7 Alabama
8 Ohio State

I continue to think that Georgia, Washington/Oregon, Michigan and FSU control their own destiny

I think that if Michigan or FSU lose, Texas is in. I *ALSO* think that if Alabama beats Georgia, Texas is in and the SEC is out, but MOV matters and I could be wrong.

So, I think Alabama needs to win and also have either Iowa or Louisville win

if K-State drops out of the top-25 with that loss though... eesh, not great for the horns

Although I guess Kansas could replace them

Assuming chalk in the conference games, how sick would a 12 teamer be

1 UGA v 5 Texas / 12 Tulane

2 Michigan v 6 Washington / 11 Oklahoma

3 Oregon v 7 Ohio State / 10 Missouri

4 FSU v 8 Alabama / 9 Penn State

I assume the committee would be sensible and fudge 9/10 Penn State/Mizzou to give us better matchups

Yes to all of this. This would be a month long CFB dream.

Yes, UGA didn't really put away GT, but they were never really in danger of losing. Also, Kirby sat the 3 best WR/TE to rest up for the Bama game.

Today was a great day for college football.

A 12 team playoff would have made today almost meaningless.

It’s also sad that with all the conference realignment, we saw the last of some great rival games.

If the chalk holds,

Georgia
Oregon
Michigan
Texas

is the only set that makes sense. Giving it to FSU over Texas would be a participation trophy. They were already fringe and now playing with a Rent-a-QB that almost died himself. No thx.

If we assume UGA and Mich win and are 1 and 2 in the CFP, then how much does their title equity sky rocket if it's 3. Wash and 4. FSU instead of 3. Oregon and 4. Texas?

FSU/Wash are decent teams, but clearly a step down from the top 6 of UGA, Michigan, Oregon, Texas, OSU, Bama. Maybe even worse than the PSU/LSU tier.

Wash has a 8 week streak of winning by 10 or fewer pts. Granted, 4 of those were ranked wins, but even conference duds like Stanford, ASU, WSU have troubled them.

I've seen every FSU game, and the only times they've looked somewhat like a playoff team were 2H vs. LSU, So Miss, and Cuse. And the latter 2 are so bad, it's hardly worth mentioning. Other than that, they've been vulnerable vs everyone else against a schedule that didn't end up being very tough at all.

Yeah Georgia and Michigan have to be rooting like hell for Florida State to beat Louisville. Whoever gets the one seed would get such a layup against FSU without Travis.

It seems pretty straightforward to me. No conference champion losers get in, and no 2 loss teams get in:

Winner of UGA/UA gets in.
Winner of OU/UW gets in.
FSU gets in with a win.
Mich gets in with a win.
Texas gets in with a win and FSU or Mich loss.
Louisville gets in with a win and Texas loss.
tOSU gets in with a Texas and Mich loss.

No way Michigan loses to Iowa (which they won't) and still gets in.

The only other scenario I could see is UGA barely losing and still getting in over tOSU.

Why would Ohio State get in with a Michigan loss?

A year from now we will have fascinating discussions about the #10 team's point spread vs 7.
