I definitely remember them almost losing to Toledo one year

Northern Illinois -5½
Central Michigan +5½
Toledo is close to locking up the division, but if CMU wins out and Toledo loses 1 they're in

7:30 PM
Buffalo 16
Toledo -16

Nov 1 Wed 2023
7:00 PM
Ball State +5½
Bowling Green -5½

7:30 PM
Kent State +3½
Akron -3½

Nov 2 Thu 2023
7:00 PM
TCU 3
Texas Tech -3

7:30 PM
Wake Forest +12½
Duke -12½

7:30 PM
South Alabama +5½
Troy -5½

If Troy wins, they're close to locking up the division (just need to fade losing to Louisiana + Louisiana wins out). If USA wins, it's a big ole cluster**** between Louisiana, Texas State and these two.

Nov 3 Fri 2023
7:30 PM
Boston College +2½
Syracuse -2½

8:00 PM
Colorado State 7
Wyoming -7

12:00 PM
Ohio State -18½
Rutgers +18½

12:00 PM
Nebraska -3
Michigan State 3

12:00 PM
Arkansas 6
Florida -6

12:00 PM
Texas A&M 3
Mississippi -3

Ole Miss still controls their own destiny, though that includes a game @ Georgia. Texas A&M needs to win out to have the season not feel like an utter failure.

12:00 PM
Kansas State 4
Texas -4

K-State probably the most underrated team in the country. Texas is vulnerable without Ewers. Winner has the inside track for a B12 title bid, although Texas is also playing for a playoff spot. Big-12 looks like it might cannibalize itself. K-State has won its last 2 by a combined score of 82-3

12:00 PM
Notre Dame -3
Clemson 3

ND still has a faint shot at the playoffs, Clemson's just trying to make a bowl game at this point

2:00 PM
Georgia Tech 2
Virginia -2

2:00 PM
Navy -6½
Temple +6½

2:00 PM

3:00 PM
UTSA -7½
North Texas +7½

3:00 PM

UAB pk

3:30 PM
Coastal Carolina 1
Old Dominion -1
Fun Belt is chaos, this is a de-facto elimination game. (Although the winner is still drawing pretty thin)

3:30 PM
Central Florida -4½
Cincinnati +4½

3:30 PM
Florida State -21
Pittsburgh 21

3:30 PM
Penn State -10½
Maryland +10½

3:30 PM
Tulane -16½
East Carolina +16½

3:30 PM
Virginia Tech +9½
Louisville -9½

The 3 teams that control their own ACC destiny are 8-0 FSU, 7-1 Louisville and... 4-4 Virginia Tech, who lost to Purdue, Marshall and Rutgers. So, this is a likely elimination game.

3:30 PM
Iowa -5
Northwestern 5

3:30 PM
James Madison -5½
Georgia State +5½

3:30 PM
Illinois 2
Minnesota -2

3:30 PM
Houston 4
Baylor -4

3:30 PM
Oklahoma -6
Oklahoma State 6

After starting 2-2 and getting absolutely smoked by South Alabama, Cowboy State has turned it around winning 4 straight over ranked Kansas and Kansas State, Cincy by 32, and WVU by 14 on the road. Both teams have 1 B12 loss.

3:30 PM
Missouri +15½
Georgia -15½

UGA has 0 SEC losses, Mizzou has 1 (to LSU) and Tennessee has 2 (to UF and Alabama). If UGA or Mizzou wins out, they're in. If Mizzou wins here, Tennessee would control their own destiny, as they still have @ Mizzou and v UGA left to play.

4:00 PM
Charlotte +3½
Tulsa -3½

4:00 PM
UL Monroe +2½
Southern Miss -2½

4:00 PM
Auburn -12
Vanderbilt 12

4:00 PM
Hawaii +3½
Nevada -3½

5:30 PM
California 24
Oregon -24

6:00 PM
Marshall +3½
Appalachian State -3½

6:00 PM
Louisiana Tech +16½
Liberty -16½

6:00 PM
Middle Tennessee State 3
New Mexico State -3

6:00 PM
UNLV -10
New Mexico 10

7:00 PM
BYU 10
West Virginia -10

On paper, the B12 is still wide open. Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and ISU all have 1 loss. WVU and Kansas have 2, but still have OU and K-State to play respectively.

7:00 PM
Utah State -2½
San Diego State +2½

7:00 PM
Kansas +2½
Iowa State -2½

7:00 PM
Georgia Southern -2½
Texas State +2½

7:30 PM
Washington -3½
USC +3½

I assume the total here is about 9000. The matchup of the two best offenses in the country was supposed to be decided by the fact that Washington's defense was somewhat above average while USC's was terrible, but Washington's D totally **** the bed last week, so who knows? All sorts of Heisman implications here as well.

7:30 PM
SMU -11½
Rice +11½

7:30 PM
Kentucky -3½
Mississippi State +3½

7:30 PM
Purdue 33
Michigan -33

7:45 PM
LSU 3
Alabama -3

Alabama likely locks up the West with a win. If they win, LSU creates a 3 way tie which would include Ole Miss. But Ole Miss still has to play @ UGA, so LSU is the prohibitive favorite.

8:00 PM
Miami Florida -4
NC State 4

10:00 PM
Stanford +13½
Washington State -13½

10:00 PM
Western Kentucky -9
UTEP 9

11:00 PM
Oregon State -13½
Colorado +13½

11:00 PM
Boise State 3
Fresno State -3

Air Force is 5-0, while Boise, Fresno, and UNLV all have 1-loss. (Wyoming has 2, including a h2h win over Fresno and a h2h loss to Boise)

11:30 PM
UCLA -2½
Arizona +2½

Arizona is resurgent. UCLA is technically still live for the P12.

I don't think you have much to worry about. Our offense has been playing a lot better with Mendoza at QB, but our defense has completely imploded.

I vaguely remember hearing a lot of grumbling about Earle Bruce and ohio st. fans wanting him gone, probably from watching ESPN. Bruce wound up at Colorado St. in 1989 which seemed like a good get for them at the time. ofc the CU Buffs weren't impressed and annihilated them every game when I was there.

FSU v. Clemson is not even a rivalry. They just happened to be the only 2 non-miserable ACC teams as of late.

However, I for one, am glad that the historic Cal-SMU rivalry will be preserved. Yes, I realize that it's just to lighten the schedule, but I like that they're being called permanent rivalries for this purpose.

Hate betting against UGA but am on Mizzu +16. Anatomy of a man who's about to lose a bet:

* I got UGA -14 last Saturday
* SP+ has UGA +2.5 and UF -2 after the game, so "shoulda been" 18.5
* Home conference game instead of neutral = extra 2.5 for UGA
* Mizzu SP+ 7 points better than UF + 1 pt. for bye week

So...13 or we're all just scared ****less of Georgia again even after they've lost their best player.

From 80-86 they were ranked in the top 15 every single year, and this is part of their "down" period.

Now compare that to what FSU, Nebraska, Michigan, etc. have had for their down periods when they became a complete joke for a little while. OSU has never experienced that in 75 years.

87-92 was a little bleaker, but even then there was only 1 season where they lost more than 4 games.

Yeah the SMU-Stanford “rivalry” is funny but the B1G and SEC schedules are going to be tough and if you have two losses going against it you are probably going to more than earn that playoff spot

Next year Michigan has Texas, USC, Washington, Oregon, and Ohio State

Won't even end up being that tough a schedule as the first 4 will all be breaking in new QBs, but I appreciate that they at least tried to load up Michigan's schedule by giving them those new B1G teams.

Possibly, yes. But all those schools are those where the goal and expectation is to be top 10 teams. At a minimum they would be breaking in a top ranked recruit or they can possibly poach someone in transfer portal. That’s where Nix, Williams, and Penix came from.

But the weak Michigan schedule was really just a two year thing anyway where they probably just couldn’t get a premium OOC game scheduled. Takes two to tango.

But in general the B1G East teams are going to have 3-4 top tier teams to deal with every year plus whatever they schedule OOC

With the portal everyone is breaking in a new qb. Michigan will just have a new coach.

also like mizzou at that number but i could be biased bc the only mizzou game ive seen this year was against a really bad USCe team, plus i always like betting against teams after a big rivalry game texas & OU both squeaked by houston and UCF after they played each other.

My calcs of their opponent probabilities:
Fresno 47%
Boise 36%
Wyoming 6%
San Jose State! 6%
UNLV 5%
