Enjoy some golf, and maybe some baseball....maybe...
Basically this. The entire idea of trying to have team sports but properly socially distanced is farcical.
Sean Doolittle said it best. "Sports are a reward for a well functioning society" and when it comes to this virus, we do not have one of those right now.
The only way team sports exists before a vaccine is if it is a very rare event that one of the competitors, coaches, training staff, referees gets the virus. Then you quarantine that team, contact trace, and wait for negative tests while reworking their schedule in a manner fair to all competitors.
This is damn near impossible to pull off for any major US team sport, and college football basically has to be the toughest task of all.
I don't think we're getting college football until there's a vaccine, and if that's a couple years away or longer, college football as we know it could look way different when it comes back.
