He's only 5'11" though. Plus if they're calling him 5'11" he's probably 5'8" or so. Come to think of it, that should pretty much bump him down to 4 stars, shouldn't it? Has there been some movement towards short DEs I haven't noticed?

Shea Patterson is returning for his senior season. Weird, thought he already declared for the draft. Guess that was someone else. Wonder why? He probably would have been a decently high pick given that this qb draft class sucks so bad. I mean, Auburn’s qb is going pro and he kinda sucks

Pryor ran hot in the sense that he got to play against the 3 worst Michigan teams in the last 50 years. I'd give anything for Fields to just be another Pryor.

I don't really consider this good news cuz it was completely expected. Obviously I'm happy and relieved he's not going tho. All I know about the draft is it seemed like several QBs were rated higher than Shea, enough where I felt safe he'd return. Anyways, Shea's performance was somewhat stunted by subpar pass blocking this year. If Michigan can give Shea decent pass blocking next year (which they are projected to do so), I fully expect him to blow up and be in the heisman conversation.

He doesn't have prototypical NFL size and his bulk stats were obviously limited by playing in a dinoball offense. With nearly the entire offense coming back (minus RB1) he'll have a chance to put up some numbers and better film.

Oregon qb Justin Herbert is staying for his senior season. This qb draft class is probably the worst one of all time, no? Barely anyone worth drafting in the first round that is declaring.

Brandon Wimbush and that 7 foot tall qb from Buffalo is transferring.

3 hot qb names out there in the transfer portal.

Justin Fields, Brandon Wimbush, and Tyree Jackson. Wouldn’t be mad at all if my team got one of those players this off season.

ND qb transfers have all flamed out, but Gus may be the best fit for Wimbush outside of the wishbone (since I doubt he can grad transfer to an academy).

Confirmed. Academies require a full 4 year experience. No graduate degrees offered at any Service Academy either.

Georgia Tech for a transitional year from the Option might be a good choice as well.

Jackson looked terrible in the Troy game. The worst look was when he had the ball 20 yards outside the pocket with no one near him and nobody open downfield, but still managed to take an awful sack and then fumbled the game away. There must be better options available

Really surprised Herbert is staying, Walter and one other I saw had him as the first QB taken in 2019. Seems like you’d want to be in that spot as opposed to waiting and possibly being the 4th QB taken in 2020 no?

Any word on what Jalen Hurts is going to do? He graduated but has one more year of eligibility I’m pretty sure. He can grad transfer for a year if he wants.

Growing up with the Saints as the nearest team, I keep wanting to pronounce it "Hebert" and wonder why he isn't at LSU.

You know how kids are at that age; he probably expects to be the top quarterback next year, too, only also the #1 prospect instead of the #6 prospect. Or there's some girl involved.

Read his brother is coming to Oregon next year and that’s probably a big part of him staying. Guess he wants to be a mentor to him since he’ll be a freshman.
