Sounds like he was going to lose the starting job to freshman early enroll.

When I checked this out, on the ESPN side news nugget thing, the following headline caught my eye;

Quote:
Harris becomes 1st female non-kicker to sign LOI
Primarily because I read it as "LOL" the first time. Now I can't figure out if it's me or them.

Florida vs Miami is likely to move up a week and open the football season

I am cautiously excited for this

Tickets will be available on game day for less than face value. Just do your homework ahead of time and figure out where they can be purchased.

Definitely go to a college game over a pro game.

Definitely go to a game in the south over basically any game on the west coast. Also, I went to both Stanford and Cal, and neither is a great destination but at least Berkeley is funky and weird, Stanford is just the pitts for a football game. Definitely don't go to that one if you have any other options since it's at Stanford this year.

What are the other options? Don't know much about ND but imagine it is probably good.

Stanford vs. Notre Dame would be a good choice as they (Notre Dame) always draw well. Should be a decent atmosphere unless Stanford is absolutely terrible next year.

CAL vs. Stanford is sort of a rivalry game but I don't how rabid the fans get about it.

I believe there is a literal staring contest involved.

Washington and Oregon fans get up for games. As does Utah if they count. Nobody cares in California unless USC is good.

Thanks again, obviously going to a game almost anywhere else in the country would be preferable but it's all dependent on my itinerary which I won't know until the (NFL) schedule is out. Could conceivably fly in to somewhere on EST on a Friday, do a couple of games then fly in the general direction of the bay area via Vegas for gambooooool

Well it sounds like we've found one of USC's problems; grifting slots and such.

So I keep hearing these deets from this admission scandal about athletic status. Mostly things like Stanford sailing, USC crew, USC pole vaulting, USC water polo, USC basketball, Georgetown tennis, even USC football (kicker).

My question is, did something happen where USC is actually hard to get into? I get the Yale, Stanford, Georgetown type schools, but *assumed* USC was a simple matter of blowing an admissions dude.

Tate Martell immediately eligible at Miami. I forget what his reason was, did someone call his roommate’s sister’s cousin a bad name or something?
