CBS bumped them up to #3 tho. Torvik also has them at 3.

Yeah looks like you're right. I'm a little surprised though, Texas is so loaded that I thought most would move them ahead.

Cool thank you. Reading a book called "The Hot Hand," a supposed analysis of the subject, that references this game. Don't have a final opinion on the book yet have about 100 pages to go ... but way too much fluff and/or romanticism for my taste.

That does seem low. Torvik has them #4.

I'm excited for this year. Seems like 30 or so teams could legitimately win the title this year.

I've got about half that number as preseason contenders and expect it'll be reduced to 8-10 due to injuries and bad chemistry, but it should still be pretty open.

KenPom also has lolIowa at 23, they should be quite bad this year. I have never really looked into what he does preseason, probably not as much adjusting as Torvik.

When's the first game? We could use a fresh thread.
