Not even an overreaction to their Nova demolition, I just think Ohio State is the best team in the B1G. They're loaded.

I still think Michigan State is the best. Mostly because I think Henry and Tillman are really good college players, especially against weaker competition.

Ohio State is really good though, and I think Holtmann is an awesome coach.

An "awesome" coach who has been to the NCAAT's second weekend once. Let's hold back on the accolades a bit.

Losing the player capable of bailing you out with a streak of buckets will do that to you

Did a bit more research... Holtmann has a 2-8 conference tournament record.

Purdue's problem right now is that everyone is a role player. Someone has to step up and be the alpha. Is that Matt Haarms? I don't know. He's the energizer bunny but he's not talented enough as a basketball player to step up in that way. Supposedly we keep hearing that Nojel Eastern can shoot now but he just can't and won't. Jahaad Proctor, transfer from Tubby at High Point, is probably the best scorer on the team right now. We also expected Aaron Wheeler and Trevion Williams to take the next step and they have not at this point.

It's one of those starts that make you think it's going to be a bad season, but last year we started 6-5 or something like that.

Purdues problem is that Aaron Wheeler has sucked on both ends of the floor. That being said, I can tell Purdue will end up being really good again this year.

Florida locked in a one point game vs Towson with 4 to play.

I know I'm the only one who cares but PSU just dominated Georgetown on the road. These are the games that they usually lose. Big Ten is gonna be tough as usual this year so they really need to win the noncon games against Top 75 teams

I watched that game. I like how Penn State has surrounded Stevens with shooters. Jamari Wheeler is one hell of an all around player. Penn State is definitely in the mix to make the tournament.

Here's the thing about MSU - Cassius Winston is a tremendous player who carries the entire offense, but he literally can't guard anyone. MSU seems more like the 15th best team in the nation as opposed to the best team in the nation to me.

Wasn't online during it, but great game tonight.

Powell is awesome, but he feels like he's more Markus Howard than Cassius Winston, in that I feel like he needs his shot to be on for him to lead an effective offense. I'm not convinced that he can find ways to get them over the hump against good teams when his shot isn't falling.

Just looked at their schedule for the first time, that Seton Hall schedule is BRUTAL

5 games against teams outside Kenpom top #100 (with the caveat that St John's is #91 right now but I'd expect them to slip outside the top 100) all season. They might be like 21-10 come tournament time and still deserve a top 4 seed.

Spread was Monmouth +53.5

Amazing restraint by Enaruna not fouling him hard.

I know no one cares about CBB because it’s Sunday and UConn is on. But we got laid out by St Joe’s 3 days ago and come back strong against Florida. Love Hurley and all he brings. Dude is nuts in a great way. Hopefully we can get back to the show this year. A

I have no idea what is going on with Florida this year. Ugly start for them after coming in with a lot of hype after the offseason.

Too bad we couldn't close him.
