Purdue's problem right now is that everyone is a role player. Someone has to step up and be the alpha. Is that Matt Haarms? I don't know. He's the energizer bunny but he's not talented enough as a basketball player to step up in that way. Supposedly we keep hearing that Nojel Eastern can shoot now but he just can't and won't. Jahaad Proctor, transfer from Tubby at High Point, is probably the best scorer on the team right now. We also expected Aaron Wheeler and Trevion Williams to take the next step and they have not at this point.
It's one of those starts that make you think it's going to be a bad season, but last year we started 6-5 or something like that.
