We do say that every year. I for one don't find this season any different. I know you were speaking in hyperbole, but Butler is on roughly half of brackets on the Matrix today (granted after the SJ loss but they were last team in before that).
As a Purdue fan, I think IU still has a chance. Gotta start winning though.
Incidentally, a note about the Butler-St John's game. My best friend travels a lot for work, and typically will get to a baseball/college basketball/hockey game along the way wherever he goes. So he texted me
Sunday night and said he was going to the Butler-SJ game
"tomorrow". I was in the middle of something and didn't even think about it. Then he went to the arena Monday. Oops. (the game was Tuesday)
