It's unfortunate for Purdue and Ohio State fans that Wisconsin only has 2 guys who reasonably look like Division 1 basketball players. And one looks like Ollie from "Hoosiers."

Despite that, good to see Wisky give Sparty all they could handle. Now, let's see if Penn State can upset Nebrasketball.

I can not figure Sparty out. There is so much talent there. I often have to wonder if JJJ is in foul trouble because he spends so much time on the bench. Bridges, JJJ, Winston, Ward and a random 5th player should be dominating, especially in a down Big 10 this year. McQuaid is a perfect shooter off the bench. But they've struggled so many times against teams like Rutgers, Wisconsin, the 20 minute blowout against Northwestern. They got blown out by an Ohio State team that isn't anywhere near as good as they are.

No clue what to expect out of them in March. No clue about anyone really. I know we tend to say it a lot, but this year looks so wide open.

Michigan State has 2 elite players(Miles Bridges JJJ)

2 more good offensive players that cant defend PnRs to save their life(Ward and Winston)

And the rest of their roster is either bad or awful.

If they are going to win games against good teams, its going to be because JJJ finds a way to stay out of foul trouble and Miles Bridges runs good on jump shots.

I love how there was almost a race as to who could screw up the conference tournament week more.

Big Ten - Having it a week early, having it in a state that doesn't feature a single Big Ten School, having the only close school be your perennial doormat, and forfeiting your only game of the year where the Big Ten is literally the only game on TV because of CBS, and making CBS use the AAC Championship as the lead in to the Selection Show

SEC - Having it in St Louis, which is 2 hours from Columbia and 5 hours from any other SEC School lol just kidding it's the Big Ten

At least Delany spoke up this week and admitted how it was a mistake.

Some of these teams are downright worn out. I know that's hard to say considering they're 18-22 year old kids but they are. The schedule was very bad for the players. If teams got any breaks at all they were saddled with a stretch of 4 games in 8 days. Illinois even had that to finish the season, including games against Michigan State and Purdue.

It remains to be seen how the almost 2-week layoff before the NCAA Tournament will affect the 4 or 5 teams in the tournament. I have a sneaky feeling Nebraska is going to make the tournament. They may not deserve it based on the Quad rankings.

Well they were in fact CLEARED (figured i should put it in all caps like Geoffras for emphasis or something) and the whole point of my post is to laugh at ****ty irrelevant obsessed fan bases like NCSt go on for years about this and then lead the report as top dollar buyer/beggar talent and all they have to show fornmaking that report is last season’s embarrassment while UNC was busy shipping the natty

It's an amazing testament to how bad the B1G is this year (plus, of course, their OOC schedule and the luck of the draw in the unbalanced conference schedule) that Nebrasketball went 13-5 and has virtually no shot at getting in. They're 8 spots behind Maryland in KenPom, bracket matrix has 1 bracket with them in (versus two for Maryland) ... and Maryland went 8-10 in the B1G.

Arizona State lost again this weekend to drop to 7-9 in a bad Pac 12.

They appear to be in no real danger of missing the tournament though because they dump trucked the non con with wins at Kansas, vs Xavier, and vs Kansas State.

I'm not sure if you're laughing at them being locks or laughing because they should be locks.

If it's the latter, I'm not sure how you put Oklahoma safely in at 17-14 or even 18-13 should they finish that way. Same with A&M.

Texas being a bubble team nicely summarizes why the selection process is bad

I certainly would have them unlikely, but they are currently on 75/83 brackets on the Matrix.

Mo Bamba out for tonight's game at Kansas. This was Texas' opportunity to play its way into the field. Oh well.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what? So his source is a defendant in a trial? Timeline makes no sense and ESPN has made a correction on the date when the call occurred, and has now had to make a correction of the correction because the timing still didn't make sense, so now they say the recorded call took place in 2016 even though the wiretaps didn't start until 2017. lol ESPN forever and always
