Uconn was a one coach dynasty for mens. Yes they won with Ollie but that guy isn't doing **** anytime soon and should have taken any promotion he could have.

They ****ed themselves by dumping money into a crappy football program. No one in the northeast gives a rats ass about college football and if they do they are following the national teams like ND. That stadium is also a joke. It’s too far from campus and most of the seats are uncomfortable benches. They need to blow the whole program up and go independent and beg the Big East or someone to take them back for other sports.

Big East is catholic schools only though right?

ACC is the only upgrade they can really hope for unless Big 10 wants another silly expansion. ACC for some reason has had no reason for wanting UConn in the past (maybe academically or strategically).

UMass upsets Providence Woooooooo.

Our coach Matt McCall will be in the discussion for big high major jobs by the end of next year. I hope he srays 4-5 years. Love listening to his press conferences, the man knows his ****.

UMass has their own football issues, obv. But it's not going away. UConn and UMass will probably be mediocre rivals in a few years. The money in FBS is too much.

Best part about that KU game was this exchange:

Bill Walton's co-announcer, "You're still in awe of your first trip to Phog Allen."
Walton: "I am in the fog."
Co-announcer: "Very true."

I was never quite sure who Duke would replace K with when his deal with the devil expires. But seems clear now.

ASU should be Top-3
Argument for #1
Will probably be 7th

I'll take 7th.

If I had to guess

1. Nova
2. Michigan St
3. Duke
4. Wichita St
5. Kentucky (doesn't seem like UK should be 5...but crazy week)
6. Miami

I could easily see Arizona St jumping UNC and being 7th. At worst they jump Texas AM and Xavier for the 8 spot.

Xavier 3 spots ahead this week after losing by 18 at a neutral site was a thing.

Lol X.

Welp Bama's fully back to also-ran status after the Arizona loss. It was fun dreaming for a while.

ASU #5 with 5 first place votes, but someone has them at 18th on their ballot.

Is Kenpom still using weighting from last year?

ASU is 9-0 and beat KP #7 Kansas by 10 on the road, #12 Xavier by 12 neutral, #50 St Johns by 12 neutral and #62 SDSU by 22 at home.

Their only close game is a 2 point win over #43 K State, neutral.

Their 4 wins against bad teams are all by 18+

How can ASU be #35 in Kenpom?

Ranked behind USC, who is 4-3 with a 16 point loss to ATM, a 17 point loss to SMU and a 2 point loss to Oklahoma and whose best win is by 4 in OT against #76 Vanderbilt.

Like, how does this all add up?

I think kenpom still uses preseason weighting all the way into the middle or end of January I think
