it was on facebook live. They played a triangle defense in the paint. Two blocks and free throw line. I think Minnesota was just confused and settled for midrange jumpers. Bama guys then sprinted down the floor of rebounds to beat them in transition, and made some contested pull up deep shots.

How the Bama bench got ejected was ridiculous though. There was a minor altercation after a made basket and the bench just kind of walked out to make sure the fight got broken up and nothing major happened. I know by the book you eject everyone but that was stupid.

UMass blew a 10 point lead to BYU in the earlier game in the last 3 minutes in the earlier game. Being a UMass fan continues to be like watching your puppy runaway forever.

Definitely want to see some team try playing 4 on defense + 1 cherrypicker now.

The Pitino post game comments are amazing. He basically shrugged and said they never practiced against a 3 man defense, as if 10 minutes isn't enough time for any semi-sentient being to come up with a strategy for such a situation.

in my college rec league, we once faced a team 5 on 4. dunno y they had 4 guys but w/e. we used our free guy to press/trap their guard bringing the ball up-court. we forced like 20 turnovers and won by 40 pts.

TRUE story. so...why can't some college coach being paid $1XXXXXXXXX figure this out?

How hurt was the injured kid? Could he not stand under his offensive basket and catch outlets and make layups?

The couple of highlights I saw involved Minnesota jacking up 18 footers with 25 seconds on the shot clock, it was hilarious. Just stand at the three point line, either take your wide open shots if they give it to you or get into the lane if they close out on your shooters, and then crash the boards with your extra guys, easy game

It was the dumbest thing I've ever seen in college ball, not that I watch a lot. There are people on reddit trying to justify it by saying 'they were dominating 5 vs 5, 5 vs 3 they didn't know what to do' which is such a joke

Nick Ward/JJJ/Miles Bridges one of the best frontcourts Ive seen in years. Maybe only 2015 UK with Lyles KAT WCS compares.

i think of a team like TAMU. **** we wouldn't stand a chance.

only way UNC makes a run at an E8 this year is a healthy Cam is integrated into the team a few weeks before the NCAAT, and then a 4-headed 3 pt monster takes shape.

Mizzou is shooting 43% from 3 (12/28) and 17 offensive rebounds to our 15 defensive rebounds (44-27 overall) and yet somehow we have the ball down 5 with 3:44 left
