Let me first establish that I think Marc Zumoff is awesome.

I watch the Sixers play whenever I can. Before, it was Steve Mix, and I thought he absolutely sucked. He had the worst sense of humor ever, would never STFU about his daughter's college team, and never STFU about how unathletic he was even though he played in the NBA.

To my delight he was replaced by Bob Salmi this year, and I quickly discovered he's even more douchier than Mix. I ****ing hate watching the game and having to listen to Salmi constantly be wrong game in and game out. I was kinda hoping Barkley would get fired from TNT and he take his job, oh well...

I'm probably in the minority... but I can't stand Jerry Remy (Red Sox) half the time or Tommy Heinsohn (Celtics) most of the time.

I don't know how bad Joe Castigilione is for the Red Sox radio broadcasts nowadays (I don't live up there any more), but when he first broke in, it was maddening to listen to.

Garciaparra??? He's the shortstop! This guy's frantically yelling and screaming on contact like somebody just launched a bomb over the Monster, and then his voice comes back down to earth to say, "Garciaparra's under it." Drove me nuts.

Dave Neihaus is old and I don't like him one bit. Rick Rizz sucks, and any time the camera focuses on a young child and he talks like he's looking at a big steak, it's horrifying.

Our Hawks guy- Steve Raible (I don't care enought to know if that's spelled right) calls Matt Hasselbeck "Matthew" and also sucks. I believe Warren Moon is his color guy (RACIST) and I have no idea why he's got so much play in the broadcast booth, he simply has nothing to say and doesn't say it well.

We do have Kevin Calabro. Who is the best. Of course now he's doing SOCCER. Thx NBA. GFY.

Hawk Harrelson, 'nuff said. Fortunately, Steve Stone's in the booth permanently this year.

Detroit Red Wings - Ken Daniels is the best (play by play) Mickey Redmond is so ****ing terrible at being a color commentator, all he does is talk about how the new rules in the NHL are ruining the game and he talks about "old time" hockey 100% of the time.

im not a fan of mcleod. his humor is terrible, his basketball observations are terrible, he has no insight. most of the time he sounds like a dumb homer that whines too much about bad calls. also, he was the pistons announcer for a long time so i cant help but think his homerism is forced and not geniune. reghi was much better.

I used to love Mickey Redmond although I haven't been able to listen to him under the new rules cause I moved from the area when they happened. Him and Dave Strader might be my all time favorite booth combination. When ever I scored a goal crashing the net I always thought of Mickey saying something along the lines of "now all you little hockey players follow the shots and make sure you got your stick on the ice" while diagramming the play on the telestrater. Maybe he has gone bad or maybe you and I just have always had a difference of opinion.

I also love hearing George Blaha doing the Pistons games. I wish I could find away to get feeds of Detroit sports.

I do that sometimes too. Never enough love for Reese and Kalas. Send Kalas' vocal chords to the Smithsonian plz.

I love his one-liners. He's corny but in a non-annoying, entertaining way.

Indians' announcers are pretty good. Rick Manning is good, the others (Underwood/Donovan) are passable.

The radio announcers are where it's at, though. Mike Hegan and Tom Hamilton are great.

My favorite baseball announcer is probably Jon Miller. It's such a shame that he works with Joe Morgan.
