edit to say: and why exactly would i be shook? we've been in the midst of a golden era with Roy at the helm. programs have up years and programs have down years. when Bradley went pro i knew the ceiling became the S16. Roy's system requires two or three quality bigs (we have one).

Same game almost to a T

We come out fired up, absolutely annihilate them with our defense, Konate has 5 insane blocks, Carter jacks up some crazy shots and everything is falling, build a 17 point lead.

Then in the second half, they calm down, their superior NBA talent shines through, our offense goes completely into the ****ter, then we can't run a press without scoring buckets, and they start to break it really easily, draw close and then close us out.

We basically have two good wins this year, Virginia at home and Oklahoma at home. I think Oklahoma is actually probably not great.

The last four losses are all to good teams, and they were all competitive, but a legit title contender would've won those games. I suppose if we can beat UVA, we can beat anyone, but we certainly struggle when facing NBA talent.

Hopefully we can win 4 of the next 5 and recover a bit down the stretch. Would be really good for us if we can get a 3 seed, because we can probably overwhelm weaker teams and make a run to the S16, and then we'll just have to hope we end up playing a 1 or 2 that doesn't have NBA level guard talent and/or somebody upsets them first.

Yeah like the name just doesn't ring a bell at all, granted I've only watched a few this year. I realized they were gonna be bad early on and avoided getting sucked into it. I'm at ground zero here and sometimes it's hard to take all of the hysteria when the teams are clearly not that good (especially the football which is the hypest of hypes).
