Trae Young 27 points 10 assists 9 rebounds last night. Was a team best +30. Nobody else was better than +16. His teammate Brady Manek, who scored 28 points, was a -2.

The reigning B1G Defensive player of the year and current nationwide leader in blocked shots, Reggie Lynch of Minnesota, has been found guilty of sexual assault and barred from Minnesotas campus until 2020.

This was his second sexual assault allegation at Minnesota, he was found innocent of the first, and apparently he was chased away from ISU and his high school with similar allegations at both. Appears he may be a rapist.

Just when you thought the Pitinos were done with embarrassing scandals, Pitino JR strikes.

damn. teams left and right taking big body blows this season by losing key players.

Lynch flirted with a triple double Wed. vs Illinois: 11 pts, 12 boards, 7 blocks

Minnesota is a piece of ****. This kid has an extensive history of this dating back to high school. 2 years isn't enough, this low life needs to be expelled.

Playing against Syracuse when you can’t shoot threes and don’t have a single big comfortable catching the ball at the free throw line makes for ugly, ugly, ugly basketball

Was at the game with my brother who is a ND fan. At least he had fun.

Every "basketball expert" on 2p2 laughs at Boeheim for the zone but the real problem is he doesn't coach offense or give any of his players rest.

Probably should teach rebounding and hustling back in transition with two seconds to go in a tie game too.

Carter is absolutely hounding Trae so far

Forced him into jacking up two horrible shots, one of which he banked in

This game is gonna be sick

Young would legit have 10 turnovers if the refs didn't make up a foul every time he got stripped totally clean

Four phantom calls against WV in the last 2 minutes. Not even my $0.02, announcers befuddled as well

Announcers were absolute dog****. Trae drew a million fouls, got about 8 of them called, and created a dozen plays where his teammates got close shots, missed, got fouled, then missed the free throws.

That freshman kid running like God for WVU and OK missing all the free throws were decisive.

I mean, I'm not about to get a big head about it because WV hasn't won anything in the entire history of ever, but I don't see how anyone could have watched that game tonight and come away with that conclusion.

OK went 19/28 from the line. If they shot their season average, they would've had 1.5 more points. Citing OK's free throw percentage as one of the two main reasons they lost is just bizarre. Like, if WV had shot our season % from the field, we would've won by 22 instead of 13.

Teddy Allen had a nice game with 20 points. In the last 4 games he's also put up 24, 22 and 15 so it's not exactly like that today was miraculous. He's good, and it took him half a season to figure out college ball, but it's not like he was banking in 25 footers. He was mostly just finishing plays at the rim off of either nice drives, shoddy defense or nice passes.

Basically, Jevon Carter straight up dominated Trae Young in very facet of the game for the entire time the two went against each other, forced him into a ton of horrifically awful shots, picked his pocket a bunch of times, abused him offensively and completely removed him from the offense. Trae was just completely unprepared for defense like that and got annihilated, and the only respite he got was when the refs called two absolute phantom calls on JC which forced him to the bench and let Trae get into his first semblance of any kind of rhythm by gifting him some FTs.

I wouldn't bet on it happening again the next time we play... if anything tonight is probably going to be a wake up call for him. He set college basketball on fire the last couple of months and has been super awesome to watch, and has been on a non stop love fest on every CBB outlet. Tonight, he went up against a senior who is the best defender in the country who wrecked him and probably humbled him a bit. Probably going to motivate him to come out even harder and improve even more, and make him even more dangerous in march.

Anyway, I'm still fully prepared for the roof to fall in and/or for us to lose to like Stephen F Austin in the first round or something, but so far this looks like the best WV team I've ever seen. The press is the best it's ever been, and we finally actually have some shot blocking to rely on in the half court. But most importantly, between, Carter, Allen and Bolden (and to a lesser extent, West) we actually have the one thing we haven't had in a long time which is a few dudes who can take the ball and go score when we need a bucket... and we also get Ahmad back eligible for our next game too.

I think this team could legit go pretty far in march if we get a good draw
