Having watched them struggle with #306 Jackson State and #302 Eastern Michigan -- before they lost their experienced PG for the season -- not shocking to me.

Only shocking thing is they were favored by that much, as they only team they've beaten handily was lolPitt.

solid breakdown is solid

however, commentators said refs first ruled UNC ball. from the replay, it looked to me that it came off the UNC's guard's hand and was rightly ruled Pitt ball

Rutgers might actually be a better team than Purdue now that they are close to fully healthy. They've been a top 5 team on Torvik if you filter December 1st.

Torvik really seems to give a lot of weight to teams that are Elite D, no offense. Not sure how much of that is him being a Wisconsin slappy.

Fighting back didn't get them within single digits and the outcome was never in doubt. It was an ugly display of basketball.

I did very much enjoy the fact that they deploy a linebacker as point guard though.
