we were also missing Dunn, a bit player, vs Va Tech. but that is sports and no excuse. we have several talented players on the bench (albeit young) capable of stepping up and competing to get wins

A Bacot loss would be insurmountable. But I'm hoping that Will Shaver gets more involved as the season goes along. No idea what we'll get from Jalen Washington this season, but he's another big who could contribute if Bacot goes down. It was pretty clear against IU and VT that Pete is simply not made to play the 5, especially on defense. The weird thing is he's listed as the same height and 5 pounds lighter than Bacot, but it certainly doesn't look like that way on the court.

Losing Pete or Caleb would be pretty rough too, but we could probably overcome it, at least to make the tourney.

Losing anyone else is meh. I'd like to think RJ is important, but he's played like complete **** the whole season. I wonder if he's got a nagging injury or something, because he is lacking confidence and not shooting well at all, especially from 3.

Missing Dunn against VT was basically a nonfactor, but he's given us a few decent minutes this year.

I wish Puff was better at offense. But between him and Leaky, the offense really stagnates at times.

The team showed up this season expecting to breeze through, and that's simply not going to work. They forgot the hard work they put in during the second half of the season to make the run they did. But it starts with defense and rebounding, and we are going nowhere until those improve.
