The smallest player on FSU's roster is 6'5" and they were outrebounded 52-22 by UCF. How is that even possible?

Anyway, lots of people had them as a tourney team, but the season is already over after losses to Stetson and UCF.

UNC was not ranked in last season's final AP poll yet were named AP preseason #1 this season. The last team to accomplish this? 2015 UK. A team who also was coming off a season losing the NCAAT title game as a #8 seed

They're 27-9 vs. the Big 12 under Mark Few and most of those games have been neutral/road. They'll be fine.

My friend who follows things more closely tells me Drake's the preseason pick to win the Valley.

All the time I was in school and then living there after, Drake wasn't even Valley-competitive. So, on one hand, it's nice they've improved the program. On the other, the MVC isn't what it used to be without Loyola. Back to a one-bid league for the foreseeable future, I imagine.

Even if they made it through to the NCAA, would be something like a 13 seed and get squished by some real team in the first round. Of course, I'll still root for them.

Oh yeah, Drake won something called the Paradise Jam in the USVI.

Seemed to be a D-list group of teams, Drake just least bad. Still undefeated on the early season, but I don't think they've played anybody who's likely to have any postseason action other than their conference tournaments.
