I know ucla plays slow in general but they should have tried to speed up Akron. Instead they are playing right into what Akron wants…. Not looking for early offense , just stupid

UCLA has missed 5 straight layups in the last 3 minutes. That is crazy. They throwing this game?

Kansas can now catch UK in all-time wins by reaching the Sweet 16. It's been a battle for decades, closing then opening again, but I'm pretty sure KU never caught UK. It was getting tight again right when UK hired Calipari, with UK struggling and Kansas putting up 25 to 35 wins a year. A lot of sentiment around UK was they were risking Calipari, with all his baggage, to stave off this Kansas charge. UK program notoriously paranoid about such things. Well it almost worked. In spite of the incredible win rate of Calipari, Self was gaining on him. Was averaging more wins per year in the relevant years even before last year's UK plummet. Anyway, Kansas looks odds-on to make some history.

In a way it's funny but in a way it's not for an expert to be so clueless even a decade or more into an era when these non-major teams are very good. I just don't like at all the blowhard type without much content to the BS. And he opens himself up for it with this. Cal BTW was undefeated in first rounds NCAA at UK, I think 9-1 now, 17-2 or so overall. But when you rant like that you need some substance behind it. Not, "Whoops. You mean some of these lesser rep teams are good?"

San Fran's last tourney win I think 1979. Tons of history in that program.

Brandon Ramsey @BRamseyKSR

Saint Peter’s shoot around in the books. A few takeaways:

-No way to say it other than to say it was low energy.
-They are even smaller in person.
-Guards are below 6’0”, bigs are at least an inch shorter than listed.
-Kentucky should do what they want, when they want tomorrow.
