damn Musselman is only 52, feel like hes been around forever.

Syracuse assistant Mike Hopkins to take the Washington job.

He was supposed to take over for Boeheim after next year.

Boeheim is never going to leave.

I'm going to kill myself.

Also, for you ***** out there- its time to beat Duke. I remember the freshman Jason Kidd game (1993) like it was yesterday..,god that was epic

Edited because the site filters out the name of the team from South Carolina. wtf

I wasn't impressed with Hopkins run while Boeheim was suspended

Me neither but this means

Syracuse lost their best recruiter

Recruits thought they would be playing for him in 2 years, now they have no idea, why would anyone sign up for that?

Boeheim, an old man who hates change, has lots of changes to make in a short period of time

Who the hell will be the next coach?

Other fans are completely delusional. Think Syracuse is a better job than Michigan. Think we can steal Beilein and add his son who is a coach at a small college here. Or Jay Wright. Or Gregg Marshall.

Oh good they gave an extension to the 73 year old coach coming off 3 straight bubble seasons. What can go wrong?

NIT has mostly been carnage, Iowa just lost in OT, one/two/three seeds all gone but the state of Illinois who haven't played the second game yet.

If you all think the NCAA reffing is bad, try watching some NIT games. Euro step apparently now allowed

Also the experimental rules in the NIT this year are Uh something else. Fouls reset every 10 minutes. 5th foul starts bonus+. No one and one fouls any more. Completely changes late game

I've liked the new foul rules

No more one and one bothers me the most. Also didn't like fouls resetting after 2H into overtime.

That's NCAAs new thing. 30 second shot clock debuted in NIT year before it was implemented throughout

so you can be in the bonus at 12:40 in the 2nd half, but not at 9:40?

wait, is this team fouls or personal fouls, or both?
03-19-2017 , 10:31 PM
pretty sure it's just nba rules without quarters and just 5 fouls vs 6. there is no way there are no foul outs.

confirmed.

Team fouls. Still only get 5 personal fouls
03-19-2017 , 11:23 PM
it's just quarters without the stoppage. pretty nice that if you're playing unc or duke and get called for a quick 5 fouls in the first three minutes of the half it only dooms you for seven minutes and not the rest of the game

I would have preferred to be a 6 seed so as to avoid a 1 seed until as late as possible. ISU-KU with the FF on the line would be amazing.

They were to disrespect Kansas.

I'm flying back to KC Wednesday, is there any chance in your excitement over the lock final four you bought tickets and want to get rid of them on the cheap?

btw,

congrats on that big12 tournament trophy and 3 of the last 4, Kansas has only managed to win 7 of them during their streak of 13 straight regular season championships so we know how hard they come by. Perhaps you can carry that momentum forward next year to prevent KU from setting the record.

Whoa! Sounds very possible. His two heartbreakers to UK might actually work against it as they are the enemy there as of now might be seen as defection.

Yeah, we didn't hold up our end of the bargain. If we got the Purdue team that lost to Nebraska, we'd be playing you guys Thursday. They have size and good outside shooting. You guys will have your hands full.

I don't have tickets because they sold out too fast and I figured I'd just wait for the inevitable KU early exit to pick some up cheap. Who knew KU would play so well? I heard all or their court cases are being held up until they finish the tournament, so they have a little extra motivation to play longer.

1 and 1 is fun but probably unnecessary

no coaches use it to foul terrible free throw shooters on purpose enough

new rules seem better, should add at least a 6th foul too
