Completely happy with a 2 point buzzer-beater loss to Kansas given the circumstances. Tatum and Bolden will be back soon and Giles hopefully in a month or two.

this.
Two of the best three players in Giles and Tatum were out (they could be the best 2 players, but Grayson could also be better than one or both). Bolden is also the best center on the team by a large amount and a top 7 player though who knows how high he actually ranks in that hierarchy.
On top of that, Grayson (the best healthy player) played one of the 3 worst games of his career (one of the other 2 was in this event vs. Kentucky last year) and Amile (the 2nd or 3rd best healthy player) also played like trash.
Kansas played well, but they won by 2 on a jumper with 2s left. At full strength Duke is going to be insanely good and would likely beat this Kansas team pretty handily.
No regular season games ultimately matter for Duke this year. We will win plenty of games to make the tournament in good standing and as long as we are healthy should be the favorite to win it all.
