the home/road splits for the B12 this year are a bit more nuts than I expect, so kudos B12 refs. KSU's is absurd. lose @ TCU/TTU, beat everyone above you (ok fine minus WVU) in the standings at home. Also they're probably the first team on both the ncaa and NIT bubble because they're actually only 15-15 but they'll have better wins than everyone else on the bubble.

Committee tends to love big wins over bad losses so NC State might be just fine with their profile. MSU/OSU can't really lose out, they'd both be on shaky ground from lack of the quality wins though OSU doesn't have the LOL losses MSU does.

It was fun times when the mid majors were actually good though and deserved bids, just zaga/shockers/panthers and mayyyyybe byu this year.

Yeah, not exactly sure what it has been recently, but the traditional stronger mid-major conferences have been down this year. A-10, Mountain West, and Missouri Valley are all having relatively down years compared to previous years.

They should be. Not sure what bubble team has the 3 quality wins we do with two of them coming on the road. That's a plus as well as SOS which if it hasn't changed is still at #2 in the country.

I've never liked the count down from 5 when the opponents shot clock is at 10. Wouldn't it be better to say nothing at all or do the reverse, start at 10 when there are only 5 seconds?

RPI is still a thing? I'd rather put my trust in something like Dancecard where State is currently at 26th. Don't think anyone outside of the top 40 has never not danced. Still a few games to navigate certainly though.
