No one has given me a feeling of joy watching sports like Steph.

Quote from my wife who is a Celtics superfan--"I love Marcus . . . but that guy is right."

I said a few weeks ago Celts basically playing with 1 hand tied behind their back because of their lack of shooting. They have 1 of the worst shooting teams in the league, hard to win that way nowadays.

His game ages like fine wine.

He's my favorite player in the league again.

Does Curry seem physically diminished at all? Maybe he has lost a half inch of vertical or a hair of straight line speed from his mid-20s? But he mostly seems the same, except much stronger.

At this point, he seems to have more raw strength than most players his height, which is amazing given where he started.

In terms of attention to training and nutrition, he obviously is at the level of guys like Lebron, Djokic, and Tom Brady.

One time, many years back, my wife told me I was right; about 20 minutes later she changed her mind & that was the end of that.

He looks yoked to me, like he is on that good ****. Brady/Bron level PED's.

What Boston is doing well over the last two weeks is playing their best defense in a long, long time; but you can only win so many games 98-92.

Smart 27.5% from three; Tatum, 31.6; Schroeder, 33.3; Horford, 28.0; Richardson, 33.3; Nesmith, 19.2. Pritchard, 26.1. Langford's at 47.4, but he's due for an injury any day now.

They need Brown (39.7). When GrWilliams (41.4) is your floor spacer, you're in trouble; Boston too often ends up playing in an iso-ball phone booth at the offensive end.

This seems like purely a personnel issue, I don't think it can be fixed without better offensive players.

Although I do think the Celts are a pretty solid team overall once JB is back. But they can lose to anyone in the modern game by building mansions with all these bricks.

Correct. And to make matters worse, Tatum and Jaylen haven't been very efficient this season in isos.

My turn, your turn iso-ball sucks donkey dick; especially with the NBA now allowing increased defensive physicality. This was one of the issues that Udoka was hired to address. Boston's pace (96.6) is 27th in the league, ugh.

Boston's in Atlanta tonight; last time they played, the Hawks were up 72-49 at the half. But in all fairness, the game was nowhere near as close as the half-time score would indicate. It was complete humiliation from jump street.

There is really no excuse for the bolded, either. This isn't a team full of plodders.
