Strus basically took his soul and his role. Problem with Robinson is he basically just works as a starter or nothing on this team, they already play Herro in the 2nd unit so if you put Robinson on the 2nd unit that is a lot of vulnerability defensively for a team that is obviously a defense first team. He's just kinda odd man out.

I will say this though, I thought Spo got a bit desperate down the stretch going with 2 of Dipo/Herro/Strus over Tucker/Lowry, I get that Lowry was banged up (although he had energy during the game, just couldn't hit a shot) but you're a defensive team first, just matchup defensively with your guys and make Philly beat you. You're running everything through Butler/Bam last few minutes anyway.

I doubt Doc was displeased to see Strus, Dipo and Herro all out there the last 6 minutes.


For a team to not know who their 5th guy is this late in the season is fine, especially if it is a top heavy team. But for a Butler/Bam team to not know who the other 3 guys should be is not a good sign. Maybe won't matter vs Philly but that was just kinda jarring to me to see their closing lineup. A guy who hasn't played in 3 years, a guy who nobody knew who he was 6 months ago and a 6th man scorer that you only play when you desperately need offense. Not like Philly is the Celts or Bucks defensively either.
