Trust me I know all of that, but I'm not talking about getting open shots, they were literally giving him 10+ of cushion with no help around him. He could have dribbled up uncontested a couple of times to the free throw line and still been wide open. If he has 0 confidence is doing that I'm questioning Kerr's decision making in playing him at all. And whoever said he hasn't been an effective scorer for a decade is flat wrong. He may not have been able to get his own shot near as well but he could make open shots (clutch shots) and could score 20 on occasion. I'd be dumbfounded at this point if he scored 10 in a game.
edit: and to whoever said your shot could atrophy over time, maybe to a small degree sure but that is usually due to endurance and legs giving out after playing a bunch of minutes. I know 60 year olds who still shoot very well.
