Not sure how he'll age because of how much he relies on physicality to dominate but these next few years he's gonna be tough to beat now that he has the monkey off his back seems like.
Dude averaged 34/10/6 on 61% shooting against the Nets. Let's stop pretending he was anything other than awesome against the Nets.

In 2019 many people had them winning and possibly sweeping the Eastern Conference finals after going up 2 - 0 in the series against the Raptors. Then of course all the love went to the Raptors after they won the next four and got a hobbled Warrior's team in the finals.

Teams get hot, etc. Playoffs could have went alot of ways this year. I did call the Bucks a poor mans 76ers team earlier in this year which I totally regret atm. I actually thought the Bucks had regressed in the offseason moves but their roll players have a ton of heart and Jrue Holiday as mentioned above was a huge improvement at pg. Also actually thought Embiid was step above Giannis but after watching the attitudes of both for years now Embiid is just such a head case and I don't think he will ever have the right mindset to win a title. He deserves to be put on a team with Demarcus Cousins somewhere. Giannis might be my favorite player in the NBA now after watching this postseason and the way he handles himself in the press. I'm very happy him.

Also credit to Monty Williams for congratulating the Buck's in their locker room after the loss. True class act and great coach.

Embiid played fine all playoffs, youre going to give credit for Middleton having huge games to Giannis but fault Embiid cause Ben won’t score or Tobias had some bad games. Seems like some weird lines that the bucks not only were good but also ran really well in terms of injuries—Giannis coming back is a miracle and when he went down Trae also got hurt, luck—KD shooting just too short as well as injuries to the nets and other teams.

I’m glad for Giannis and he played awesome especially this series. Bud and Giannis figured out something versus Ayton who looked like a first year playoff performer after playing like a top 15 player for 3 rounds and 2 games.

Giannis has always been elite. He's a little better in the half court than he was a few years ago, and that was fully on display in these playoffs.

His offensive performance was especially amazing when you consider how well he was playing, and how much energy he was burning, on the defensive end.

Highest pick on the entire roster is Brook Lopez at 10. Only team besides that Raptors squad to win without a high lotto basically ever.

That shooting % I think is unheard of when that fatigued. Is anybody that efficient in June/July ever??

And cherry picking a flukey run to get back into a game they had no business being in is not a fair representation to the dominance of MLW in the last 4 games of the sweep. A fully stocked Clipps would have made for an epic series.
He's not saying the suns are the greatest team of all time, he's just saying they are a good, solid opponent. People are out here acting like the bucks beat the sacramento kings in the finals

Like, the suns are probably better than the last 3 NBA finals losers: the 5 seed miami heat in the bubble, the crippled GSW who lost to toronto when they ran out of guys, and he last Lebron cavs team where the 2nd and 3rd players were like... Kevin Love and JR Smith??

And, prior to that, they're also probably better than the 09 magic, the 06 Mavs, the 05 Pistons, and all of the losers from 99-03?

Like, they're probably almost exactly the quality of an average finals loser over the last two decades

He was more up and down vs the Nets if you watched every game, which is surprising since the Nets were a much worse defensive team than the Suns.

There were times when Blake was really discouraging at the rim in ways that Crowder/Ayton just couldn't. That has to be a mental hurdle the way he was able to bring his game up a level against superior comp.

Might just be confidence too when you know you're the better team. Booker/CP probably doesn't seem so daunting after the series Durant had.

You refer to, what, 11 teams there? Only two are from the West, and one was the clear best team in the league, it was just injured. I think that's the main thing, we're used to poor Finals losers, just not poor Finals losers from the West.

Not that I think Suns were that bad or anything either, but there were at least 4 teams better than them if healthy (including Bucks)

That's amazing. I was going to add the 2015 Warriors to the list but then i remembered that Bogut went #1 overall.

Or Blake could just be the Giannis Stopper.

It's possible.
