All of a sudden the Suns suck because they didn't sweep the conference finals? Really guys? I know overreactions are what you do around here, but damn. Let's let them get down in the series, or even tied up lol, before writing them off, what do you say?

I don’t think anyone is saying they sucked or anything close to it, but they do seem a lot less inevitable after this game though. They went from up 2-0 with a commanding lead and CP3 coming back to a couple bricked FTs and an amazing play away from being down 2-1.

How are the refs supposed to count the 10 secs on FTs? They can't use the game clock - is that why they don't enforce it? But they have called it a couple times, so there is a way to do it.

I think the margin in game 3 and the fact that it's their first game in the home series means a G2 loss leads to the same result in game 3, but probably closer, assuming the same thing happens to Cam.

LAC did a lot to love schematically, in particular being able to dig off PnRs but still get back to their man whilst being in the passing lanes ftmp. I wonder how Monte will adjust--I could see shooters start to cut more, but that's a risky pass and not a guaranteed good look with the Zubac in drop.

This'll really be the first big adjustment Monty has had to make, we'll see how it goes. If the other CP misses some time it could swing the series imo.

Something I've been thinking about--do Ayton and Bridges both get maxes? I've heard that Ayton is expecting one, but nothing of Mikahl. If anything I think the latter gets at least a couple max offers from teams like OKC in 2022 free-agency, but I'm not sure about Ayton.

I think you have to max them both, but if anyone doesn't get it I think it should be DeAndre.

You've never seen the ref do the "1...2...3" hand motion after handing the ball to a player on an inbounds play? It's like that.

No, refs just count in their heads. The hand motions just help keep time.

That gif, interestingly enough, shows a pretty bad call where that ref calls a 5 second call after 4 seconds. It also gave us this reaction:
