I dunno, the Dallas series I was pretty confident they wouldn’t keep hitting 50% from three cause their shooters just aren’t that good and were pretty shitty secondary creators. Hardaway and Finney can knock down an open shot, but if you hit that first rotation they’re not going to do anything after. Bogdanavic and Ingles, and kinda Clarkson even, are so much better at keeping it rolling and moving and forcing more scrambles.

Add in the Gobert factor and the Clips really need to hit those 3s to keep up. A lot fewer easy Kawhi and PH bail out drives.

Not hopeless, just smaller margin of error.

Agreed, not getting one in Utah leaves them with so little wiggle-room.

For those who like money, PHX +1.5 is as free as it gets. I've watched the games a few times now, and I can't think of any scheme or combination that can stop the Suns from getting corner 3's or layups, or at worst CP3 barbequing everyone on the perimeter.

MPJ's back might still be tight, and even if the role-players play like the best version of themselves it still might not be enough.

I definitely think the opponent is in his head, when he gets the ball 18 feet from the basket he kinda knows him doing anything but a point blank layup or dunk is a -EV play against the nets and it is contributing to how indecisive he is

not saying I got an easy fix but that has a lot to do with it
