That's the understanding. He wants the max, the team feels like it would be a mistake to give him that (esp. coming off the injury), plus he wants to go to MIA for RANGZ and his music career.

He's played pretty well in the first 2 games this year tho, so he may well be BACK, which complicates things some.

Not to mention it's a really weird spin. Giannis played 100% of the non-garbage minutes for Milwaukee (started the quarter on the floor, got pulled at the 7:30 mark when Bud waived the white flag). To spin that as him sitting "essentially the entire 4q" says to me you're looking for a reason to hate.

Randle/RJ were out there a bit too long. Like maaybe 2 minutes? Oh well. There will be bigger fish to fry. Enjoy the win.

Ricky is so much better than DLo.

With Towns out i fear Dlo's version of "putting the team on his back" is gonna be to fire a ton of contested long 2s. Like Wiggins but different.

DLo is quite obviously not good and a terrible contract. It was bizarre when TZ liked the move for GSW when the got him, total head scratcher. All because he undeservedly made an allstar team in a down East year. Guess there was the incredible Warriors bias there that also made people think Wiggins was going to take the Year 7 jump and that Kerr is a good coach.

Yeah he’s never been very good. He was decent offensively that one year on the Nets because of fit, but 22ish ball stopping ppg on 53 TS% and turnstile D isn’t that exciting. His FTR is low for a player of his style too which caps his efficiency. Not a guy I want on my team.

That league parity, though. The only undefeated west team is OKC 1-0.

There are 4 undefeated east teams, only one of which was predicted to be in the top 8.
