To post this after the Bulls game, which was one of the most blatantly rigged games I've ever seen (Jokic hacked Coby on the steal+layup to go up 6, shoulda been an and-1, the ball was off Campazzo and they randomly didn't even review it, Jokic was Dwight'ing under the basket all night long) is hilarious.

Speaking of Dwight, you'll be pleased to know that him dismantling opponents and not getting called for it isn't a Laker thing but apparently just a Dwight team. He spent all night moving on every screen and shoving people out from under the basket with no consequence. And then, up 1 with 10 seconds left, Randle nudges Harris under the rim when Harris had no shot at the rebound and the Knicks had secured it, and Harris gets sent to the ft line.

Pure embarrassment. Luckily it brought out a FIERY Randle postgame, so hopefully the team can rally around him. What this actually means is they're a lock for a letdown game against Washington at home Tuesday

He's a taller Russ (in terms of stat padding) without the random defensive surges. But his IQ+teammate enabling makes him way more conducive to winning. His assists are a lot less empty than the ones Russ gets. He'd be a more than worthy MVP based on his output assuming the Nuggets take care of business in the 2h against a weaker schedule.

However, I think you could very easily make the argument that the Nuggets absolute ceiling is achieved more often if Murray is their best/most important player. He can create his own shot in the tougher moments at an elite efficiency and is looking like their best wing defender. Jokic can fill it up, but it does not surprise me that Murray does better on his own than him.

Regardless, they're so damn good together it's actually possible the Nuggets should just play them together almost the entire game and let Barton/MPJ run the 8-10 minutes they sit. I think that achieves a number of very positive things for the team, especially against elite competition that will not be scheming/rotating that way.
