I'm guessing it had more to do with not wanting to get ejected and suspended than running from Jokic.

Nah we’ve been playing with house money since the start of the playoffs. Jokic is the MVP, he’s now put two upsets on the playoffs, and nobody is gonna care about the sweep years from now.

HE might be radicalized now though, and with an actual off-season maybe he comes out and gets another MVP.

Gg ec. Pulling for the Suns now. I think they would own the Jazz but haven’t looked at them against the Clippers, both series should be fun.

Gg Durango and especially TuT for banning Raids, this thread would have been insufferable with him on it.

Who are you talking about, the Nets?

Harden didn’t load manage (except for taking the first month off) he just got hurt for basically the first time in his entire career.

Kyrie just took off random games whenever the world became too round for him and he’s always hurt anyways.

Davis is notoriously always hurt.

Kawhi and PG are load management trailblazers and they’re playing like 40 mins game so far.

It wasn't just losing Jamal. It was losing Monte for a month, then Jamal as soon as he Morris came back, then Will until round 2, then PJ Dozier right afterward.

By the time the playoffs came around they were starting Facu Campazzo and Austin Rivers, their third-string PG and a player who didn't have a job for two months. They played admirably and had so much positive variance in round one, but in round two it felt like all that juju came back to haunt them. Jokic absolutely backpacked that team all year, moreso than any apex superstar has done this side of Lebron, and I don't think he had anything left for this series.
