But what if Mavs offer Porzongis?

Knicks shouldn't gamble on Wall imo.

I wouldn't take Wall for nothing in return at his salary, he has like 2/90 left on his deal lol

Given what I've seen thus far, I think the Suns are pretty overwhelming favorites to come out of the West. I watched their games vs. the Jazz to see how they beat the drop, and they absolutely destroyed in the minutes when Rudy was on the court, to the tune of a +14.5PP/100 when Rudy played.

They went 1-2 vs the Clippers, but one was early in the year when Phoenix wasn't great and the second was a road B2B, all games within 10 points. Monty Williams seems to be on one as well--they are just so disciplined out there with almost everything they run on both ends!

They don't seem to have any coverage/style weaknesses on either end, and even though CP3 has had a couple playoff foibles in the past we're talking about maybe five plays in an otherwise stellar playoff career. Plus he's going up against two teams that have a bit of mental fragility in their own right.

We just need the BBall gods to bless CP3s body for another month or so.

How did they beat the drop? Seems like pretty good series for Gobert since CP lives at the midrange and he can matchup with Ayton.

So it turns out that Ayton will get there before trae or Luka ...

I wanna see healthy Suns vs healthy Nets, with the ultimate showdown of CP3 vs. The Beard!

Mind boggling if this current suns team can get out of the west and make the finals and the nash amare Marion era (joe Johnson) and deep bench never did……..:for a variety of reasons which include Robert Horry (1 step off the bench suspensions, Spurs fundamentally elite, Joe Johnson face smashed in, list goes on)

Some months back I saw a (maybe it was NBATV) special on the Suns of that era and all the times they came so close to crashing through. It was a very interesting watch. Nash deserved a ring!

Nuggets are still live this series though. Was pretty surprised seemingly no adjustments were made. Both the Bucks and Nugs have a really smart slowish Center that is getting exploited hard, but both can still make adjustments that keep them in the series.

That's how you're supposed to do things in a playoff series.

Oh so NOW Doc Rivers decides to make adjustments instead of doing the same thing that's getting them killed and expecting different results.

Nuggets were also awful first 2 games against Utah last year. They played them like a lottery team that didn't want to be on the floor and turned it around later in the series.

It's going to game 7

I thought the drop would be ideal as well, that's why I went back into NBALP and watched. Man I've slept on Phoenix's offense these last three months. Basically them having two capable PnR ball-handler's, one of them being a top 3 OAT PnR guard, allows them to reverse the action every..single..time. If you're dropping it's always going to be to one side, and when they reverse Rudy is always going to be out of position which forces their defense into rotation.

And they don't reverse anything from the normal angles. From what I saw it would be Devin Booker cutting into the paint from ATB and then curling around the action from under the hoop. Utah had it scouted well and would rotate, but they aren't a team that's built to be in rotation. What your left with is an elite passer and 4 other good to very good ones forcing you to run around the court.

I haven't watched them defensively yet, but I suspect they are doing some great stuff there too.

They made a ton of adjustments, dunno what you're on about, but none of them seemed to work. Both first halves this series were good process/bad results imo. That led to bad process/bad results against a team that doesn't make any mistakes.

@guivre1408, I don't think this is going more than 5, Phoenix is too good and Denver's role-players are playing poorly.

And when I say role-players, I mean the guys that weren't in the NBA earlier this year. Jamal going down hurt a lot, but it's compounded by Monte Morris, Barton, and Dozier also going down in the span of 10 games. They were still awesome when Monte Morris slid into Jamal's role, but now they are stuck in this weird spot where their two best guards are backups that came off injuries. Sure you can put them back in the starting lineup, but I suspect the chemistry will suck and they'll get blown out anyway.
