I thought the drop would be ideal as well, that's why I went back into NBALP and watched. Man I've slept on Phoenix's offense these last three months. Basically them having two capable PnR ball-handler's, one of them being a top 3 OAT PnR guard, allows them to reverse the action every..single..time. If you're dropping it's always going to be to one side, and when they reverse Rudy is always going to be out of position which forces their defense into rotation.
And they don't reverse anything from the normal angles. From what I saw it would be Devin Booker cutting into the paint from ATB and then curling around the action from under the hoop. Utah had it scouted well and would rotate, but they aren't a team that's built to be in rotation. What your left with is an elite passer and 4 other good to very good ones forcing you to run around the court.
I haven't watched them defensively yet, but I suspect they are doing some great stuff there too.
