If Howard plays more than another season, he'll move up to 6th all time in rebounds, ahead of every other modern player. He's been grabbing rebounds for a long time, and led the league 5 times in his prime.

Strangely enough, he's made five 3 pointers this season, which is a career high. He had only 9 in his entire career before this year. It's especially strange because his role as a scorer is less than it ever has been, as are his minutes. His 20 attempts this year are also by far a career high.

Denver's going to look real dumb when Portland beats them in 5 or 6 and Dame waves them off the court, smh.

Clipps get an A+ for tanking the final 2 to assure Nuggets the #3 seed and first dibs against the Lakers. Also IMO they are happy avoiding the Blazers and getting the Mavs instead first round, although there is some history there.

I see that the Duncan/Manu/Parker spurs somehow were the 7 seed in 2010.

Not really sure what happened to them... parker missed a bunch of games but Manu and Duncan both played 70+. They were the 3 seed the previous year and the 1 seed the next year.

They did beat #2 Dallas 4-2 in the first round before getting swept by Phx in the 2nd.

Knicks had a nice year, Thibs does this, they had barely any injuries, had a nice win streak vs a soft schedule but Hawks are just more talented.

I agree od2ds, especially on Portland/Denver. The Blazers have a ton of weaknesses, but Nugs don't have the personnel now to take advantage of that.

I love the play-in but they need to take it farther. I want there to be an advantage for every incremental seed. In my scenario, every seed you move up you either don't play in the previous round or you get the right to pick a team from the previous round. Tanking to avoid matchups is getting ridiculous. (I know I have posted this many times. I want to will it into reality.)
