Zion's a 300 pound dude that's constantly landing violently from 12 feeet in the air. It's already unprecedented in terms of gravitational load and now he's injured/cut out the cushion to his knee.

I got in these bets relatively late so there wasn't a ton of edge, decided to fire anyway for funzies tho.

Celtics:

A team that Vegas thought would win 59 games last year ends up winning 49 because Kyrie did flat earther team-destroying things and Kobe infected Tatum with his mamba'ing. And Hayward, as expected, wasn't back up to speed (it's a multiple year injury to recover from).

So Celtics go from overrated Kyrie to Kemba (big plus) but they lose Horford (big negative). Downgrading from Horford to Enes kinda sucks; I'm not sure even BradGOAT can fix Enes. But reports are Tatum is gonna be mamba'ing less, all the young guys are improving on the age curve, and Hayward will get back to being a fringe all-star player. I have a real hard time seeing this team win less than 50 games in an eastern conference that looks pretty mediocre.

Thunder:

This team has zero depth, so really I'm just making a bet that their health holds up. If they are healthy, this team absolutely wins 32 games.

if things go sour w/ health or record i wouldn't be surprised to see some people get traded and it absolutely platoons me, but losing westbrook and george is peak ewing theory. pacers were just fine once george left town, and westbrook is prob the most overrated player in modern NBA. and you want to tell me that they decrease 18 wins from last year? get outta here. I think this team surprises people a la Kings last year and wins 40 games (SPICY TAKE ALERT)
