Pretty fun game. Denver’s been shooting poorly for a few weeks now, if that changes they should roll in this series. Shooting 21% from deep vs 45% and having a shot to win it is a good sign. Thought they acquitted themselves pretty well for missing every shot and being the first playoff game for most of them.

DeRozan was awful. But if they can win an ugly game like that, Nuggs are in real trouble. Derrick White dunk was awesome, though.

Do you mean the timing of them or the playcall? A wide open JM 2 for the win and a joker drive into traffic seem pretty ideal.

Magic/Raptors game was fire. Leonard was just absurd down the stretch and Orlando being able to answer every time was awesome. I still think Raptors win the series but I got at least one great playoff game out of it.

It's just over coaching imo and not trusting your team to execute. The -neg EV by leaving your team with no TO when you miss down 1 + having to foul has to be worse than whatever potential EV you gain by calling a play vs Pop planning a D play.

Agree that the Nuggs missed tons of good looks from 3 and those shots should be there all series but flip side to that coin is LMA/DDR were awful and SA still won on the road. Repeat, LMA and DDR were AWFUL and the Spurs still won on the road. An underdog team winning on the road when their 2 best players shoot like 12/35 is pretty unheard of.

I don't really get why Den plays so slow against an older, badly deficient defensive team like SA. Run a little more with all the young legs you have, relentlessly drive and kick.

I love Ben Simmons and think he's a sick player but I have to admit that last night proved again why -despite being so talented - it's going to be hard to leverage his talent for a title run.

Brown need to have the balls to not play him in specific matchups and lineups. If Ben is playing he has to be the one handling the ball, he can't be playing out there while Butler is handling the ball or Embiid is posting up. Sixers need more TJ and less Ben

No Cousins 27 minutes - plus 34

Looney was plus 30 in 17 minutes.

I mean it won't cost us in a series vs the Clips, but it's going to be important come later rounds.

Curry didn't even take a shot until half way through the first (meanwhile Cousins had taken 4). That just shouldn't happen.

He may not, but I'm sure part of the deal in him coming there was that team comes first.

Iggy moved to the bench.
Bogut went from starter to not playing at all in the 14/15 Finals.

Both of them took it well.

He can surely see what happens when he's not out there. They play like the Warriors.
