The way they've executed, for sure. They needed to trade for Kawhi and/or PG13 (or know they'd be able to sign him), and then get LeBron, not the other way around. Doesn't look like they get anybody now, and they're in between both worlds of young and old. Would have been better off just keeping all the young guys vs what's happening now. Although best move would have been trading for PG13 then still trying to get Kawhi and/or another player.

No way do the starstruck Lakers trade him, so in the first 2 years, the odds might indeed be close to +∞.
By year 5 though, when Bronny Jr might be drafted by another team and LeBron might go join him, the odds go way down, maybe even negative odds.

Although the general public likely believed the PG thing was real, I doubt that Magic/Pelinka had any real inside track to get him. Reporters (e.g. Ramona Shelburne) seemed to confirm as much after the fact.
I'm convinced that Magic has given up on Ingram, even though he is 21 and has played very well 2nd half this year. So he likely goes the Randle route which would be really dumb IMO.
I really don't see anything on the plus side Magic has done for the Lakers other than being in the right place where Lebron had already determined he was going.
This. All of this.

I was thinking you were going for Best Player Available, and I was wondering why you were using "Available". I like your explanation better.

Makes sense to me. Kyrie changes the roles and rotations of all the players. I haven't verified by looking at every game and lineup, but there's a difference between when he's a starter playing big minutes but just off the court, vs when he's not in the game at all. Could affect some players more than others, but it could definitely make an impact.
