Obviously the Pacers have had a dreadful schedule up till now.

Saying russ has a long history of meltdown looks more like a case of confirmation bias. OKC has a history of doing pretty well in the playoffs and he used to spearhead those teams along with KD. They couldn't get passed the not-exactly-great-Grizzlies the year he went down and he was one of the main reasons they were up 3-1 in the first place against GSW in 2016.

Sure they didn't make it out of the first round the last two seasons, but it wasn't exactly like they were powerhouses on the verge of winning it all. They barely got in the first year (almost entirely thanks to westbrook) and had to drag along the corpse of melo in the second year.

I'm not saying he's never at fault and obviously he's the most frustrating player on the team at times, but acting like he's a detriment to the team or even a negative player is ridicuruss.

Justin Holiday to Memphis for 2nd round picks, MarShon Brooks, and Seldon. I think the Bulls SHOULD have gotten more. JH makes only 4.4M this season so he was very easy to trade. The downside is he is an UFA next season. I guess the Bulls thought he was too old for their timeline (29). Holiday is a good wing defender and can hit 3's (36% on 7 per game). Wish a better team made a move for him.

I like Holiday but don't really know anything about Brooks and Seldon. 2nd rd picks are almost trash. Thought the Grizz did well.

Second round picks are trash unless they aren’t. Giving them up for a 29 year old when your ceiling is maaaaybe an eight slot in the West is the kind of crap that got them into this mess to begin with. Memphis has been god-awful with their drafting when they aren’t giving the picks away for the likes of Courtney Lee and Jeff Green.
