Embiid's health would have me hesitant if I was Lebron.

At 34 y/o this is basically his last stop.

Also his lack of perimeter defense and lack of shooting... And being pretty dumb on the court overall.

Horford > Embiid afa equity against the Warriors.

If LeBron doesn't land on the Celtics I will be type disappointed.

I don't agree with that.

GL playing small vs Embiid.

But I do think Celts >>>>> Phi as far as LeBron's options go

Embiid's PPP out of the post isn't good, he's meh from that spot and turns it over a ton... Never in a million years would he be able to create offense to rival GSW out of the post come on now. My guess is you'd see doubling only for Joel to either throw it to the Warriors or to his team of shaky shooters.

Embiid going to be crying if lebron heads to the Celtics and the sixers end up with dog ****. Seadood, it’s weird your takes don’t make much sense. The sixers were elite with embiid on court all season on both sides of the court until the mask came on. Maybe the mask had something to do with his struggles against Boston.

What do you need help with?

Kyrie staying on a really good team where he can still be the leading scorer is going to be really good for peoples perceptions of him as a player. The Celtics are that team.

Being on an average team, he will win 45 games at best and basically be irrelevant.

Has anyone ever thought that IT2 was better than Dame Lillard tho? Are you talking about the original I Thomas?

yeah, I was talking about the original Isiah. Kyrie on the Celts would be similar to him on the Pistons or Curry on GS where all the pieces fit for you to really shine.

Steve Nash on the Suns is another situation like that.

I'm not really saying those guys are overrated but I do think they're more team dependent than other superstars.

What numbers indicate Embiid made Philly elite?

He played 30mpg, missed 20 games, had 6 WS, 2 VORP, 106/100 RTG split. None of the advanced stats really love him except RPM, which seems real noisy for Phila given that RoCo’s was better.

He carried a huge usage on decent efficiency. Seems like a less good, big Russ.

People’s perception of kyrie is a great player already, maybe not too 5 or top 10 but the next level. I’m not sure if that’ll change anytime soon but he was great this year before the injury. He obviously can handle being first or second banana if necessary.

Nash wasn’t dependent on other players.

He made scrubs good and good players great. Like LeBron in a way.

If he's winning finals MVP's on the Celtics or 44 games on the Knicks/Nets I'd say that would go a long way towards how he was rated as a player.

As well as how much $ he could make off the court.

Again, he lucked out to go Celts. I really doubt he wants off that team. If anyone is hesitant between those 2 parties it is the Celts about giving him a 5/175 deal.

The best lineups in the entire nba starred embiid this season. They literally had their own death lineup before the injury. Let me see if I can find the article. His o isn’t super elite, it’s his d that makes him Uber dominant.

The sixers starting lineup had a net rating of 22.1 this season in 600minutes together.

ya like 50 random dudes had career years while playing with Steve Nash, and then made billions in free agency

He made others look great but that system with Amare/Marion was obviously ideal for him.

He didn't approach that level of play in Dallas for a reason. And that was a pretty talented offensive team too.

What about 4 starters and not-Embiid?

Eh he was pretty damn good in Dallas (led some of the greatest offenses ever when there). D’Antoni GOAT coaxed a little more value out of him by giving him full rein (like Harden).

Don't think anyone had Steve Nash top 10 itl on Dallas, much less b2b MVP.

And Dallas was obv a great setup as well playing with Dirk in a Don Nelson offense.

The other comps are better though. Kyrie would be more like DRose on the Bulls but on a better team on the Celts.
