Fun times around the dinner table for the next, like, decade or so.
if anyone connected to BC is behind those accounts, he's finished

i mean they:
- disclosed **** about the health of players etc
- took runs at numerous players, some like Embuust & Fultz that are still with the team
- took shots at their current coach iirc
- took shots at other execs like Masai
- borderline tampered (e.g. talking about trading Embuust for Zinger)
- whatever else i'm forgetting

imagine going into this summer trying to sign labron/PG13, or trade for Kiwi, etc and be like nah this is kool, not gonna happen again

anyway, a lot of smoke about him getting fired today

also smoke that Silver is pissed that this is happening during the Finals, so idk if that means they'll act sooner (like a Friday news dump today before G2 on Sunday to bury it), or wait until after the finals

today makes sense, if they've already gotten to the bottom of it

people dont realize that having the last name Colangelo makes you bullet proof in the NBA

Philly already wasn't exactly Silver's favorite team.

Just increases Bron to Celts equity, don't say I didn't start that.

It's just a huge, pulsing mass of unprofessionalism that I support PHI removing immediately

Silver pushed the Colangelos on the sixers so it’s even more embarrassing for silver and the nba. I’m pretty sure silver warned the sixers of what they were doing and said they would have done major fines if hinkie wasn’t let go and they would bring in their flunkie, Jerry. Jerry later helped bring in his son. Nepositism at its best. Silver hated what hinkie was doing and now, the replacement is a bigger joke than the guy he replaced.

Hinkie: Do you like Apples?
Silver: What?
Hinkie: DO YOU LIKE APPLES?
Silver: Yea.
Hinkie: The Colangelo's are a ****ing disgrace to the NBA and you hooked them up with the Sixers. How you like dem apples?

Btw there’s a guy behind the plate at the Phillies game that had a “FIRE BC” shirt on who now has a “where is Eric jr?” Shirt on. Hero

i would love to see colangelo in detroit - there honestly couldn't be a worse match between team/salary cap situation & GM.

I would love to see that arena the next few years with Bryan as the GM.

That was stupid of me - the GM spot is open in Detroit though.

I think John Beilein would be a terrific hire for the Pistons - I am not sure why he would do it though.

Hardwood Paroxysm @HPbasketball

Warriors open at Westgate as 5-4 favorites to win the 2019 NBA title.

Rockets 7-2
… Sixers 7-2
Celtics 8-1
Lakers 20-1

… Cavs 30-1.

… Curiously the Heat are 20-1, better than Toronto, Utah (60-1), OKC (60-1)
so they think labron is gone

what are the Heat doing to be 20-1?
talents ---> back to SB?

Wonder what the limits on those are?

Celts 8-1 seems pretty legit even if you gotta fade Bron going Philly

2nd best team going into the season in the East next year at worst and good chance they are best. GS gonna be a year older, not much flexibility to improve the team.

One thing I'd say about GS is that their bench might be significantly improved next year because of how tight the cap is gonna be this offseason. Easier to get a few decent guys to sign for vet minimum.

Usually about $500 and you have to tie your money up for a year lol at that

Yeah time value sucks, figured limits be pretty low but westgate does gamble it up more than most books.

8-1 is solid though, think that likely goes down as it gets closer to the season and Kyrie/Hayward are considered ready to go. C's should be pretty loaded.

Tough to say who moves where this offseason but still a +EV bet imo

Detroit does have a great historical bar scene.

I learned this from Andrew Neeme's poker vlog.

Belien would probably be a great NBA coach but the Pistons are such a horrible place to go. He's too old to ride out the 4-6 years they'll need to actually rebuild.

Why doesn't some larger market team let Olshey con them into giving him a job already? God why does his contract go through 2021?

Only other 1 that jumps out is Bucks 100-1, just feels too low. 1 of the best players in the league, new coach that should be a big upgrade.

It's just very easy to see them a top 3-4 team in the east, esp if Bron goes west.
