I'd be surprised if the life expectancy of a rich white women in the USA wasn't about 85.

Avg female life expectancy in the US is 81, so you might be close.

14 years of life is a lot to lose.

What do you guys think Love would net in a trade? 1yr left on his deal and he isn't going to be as coveted as Butler/George or even Boogie. Obviously it'd make no sense for Cle to keep him if Bron is gone.

What about Love to OKC for hoodie melo and a pick with limited protections? Since OKC has implode equity in the near future.

Best fit seems like the Heat, a team with a defensive identity that just needs a bigtime scorer but their cap situation is horrible. He'd be gettin a lot of ass there too. Portland isn't bad either but like OKC they don't have much to give.

How about a sign and trade for Jabari?

Why would Cleveland want an old and terrible melo?

Trade one year of k.love who is younger, great locker room guy, better and has demonstrated ability to sustain high usage efficiency for one year of old cancer melo and what the 22nd pick?

If/when LeBron leaves they are ****ed, simple as that so they better start hoping to bink 3 number 1 picks again

They wouldn't want Melo, just for salaries to work. Probably buy him out.

That's a fine deal for a team that would stop contending next year.

They get a free first rounder and a great tank commander

Melo would likely beg nonstop for a buyout so you'd have leverage there too.

K.Love + Brookyln pick for Kawhi, if Kawhi tells them he wants out of Spurs isn't that a solid return for them?

p.s K.Love has two years on his deal, i doubt he opts out as being on Cleveland has depressed his value + he will be 32 in his final year, he won't be getting a 3+ year contract at that point worth over $25mill/year.

Why wouldn't K Love opt out? He can still get 25-30 a year from plenty of teams and opting in and waiting another year could only further depress his value.

Being 32 in his final year is a reason to opt out, not opt in. I think you made my point for me.

Markets not great anymore. Look at what sweet Lou signed for. Him + jingles is same price as love and you’re prolly getting more

I still think he gets 25 if he's willing to sign w/ any team tho

Lot of teams would love to have a great white hope to sell to their fan bases

Gallo got 20 last summer (lol), Millsap got 30, market is getting tighter but Love is still gonna be a nice consolation prize for teams.

I thought the no-trade is over after you waive it once, yeah maybe he wouldn't waive it.

The money-crunch is for next year only, several teams have max cap space in 2019 and more in 2020. I think we'll see a lot of guys take QO's and one year deals next year because of this.

Damn, could definitely see Pop just retiring after this season. It would be sad but I think this season has been pretty hard on him.

Correct. He drug total dog **** to the playoffs. They have LMA who's a lower tier perennial all-star. Then the 2nd leading scorer is Patty Mills. 2nd in win shares is Kyle Anderson. They made the playoffs in the crazy West.

Why does the NBA have a couple of series having played 4 games before others have played 3 games?

Cause the NBA is greedy and want the marquee matchups on Sunday.

So if/when LeBron leaves, the Cavs have to #TrustTheProcess for a few years and not even try to compete, right?

They're gonna be paying 71mill per to Thompson/JR/Clarkson/Hill/Korver for the next two seasons.

Well if the league gives them top pick over and over they can rebuild again but yeah they should blow this thing up totally if bron leaves. If they try to retainplayers they’re just going to be in cap hell with a team that will be marginal.

I could see him going this route as well but I don't think it's a good idea for his well-being.
