I refuse to get excited for the Raps. 2 years ago I was saying that Lowry only played horrid the previous year because of injury and thought they were somewhat interesting, last year I thought that the Ibaka and Tucker trades filled huge holes in their lineup and got somewhat excited, this year Im not getting excited. They could easily grind out a trip to the finals, but really would anyone be surprised if they lost a series to anyone, but Miami or Indiana? Being legit 12 deep is so much more valuable in the regular season, and the only 2 players who consistently close for them have a bad playoff history. IDK maybe its just different levels of excitement for different people? Maybe topping out as the Jason Kidd New Jersey Nets brings a strong level of excitement? Winning this conference doesn't excite me. If the Cavs come to play, the Raps will lose, if the Cavs dont have another gear and lose to the Raps, who cares?
