A no-look would be fitting as well.

DDR and Lowry were the two most pathetic players in the AS game.

Everyone else was goofing around and having fun and the two of them were just consistently looking to make boring plays and try to put up stats in a meaningless game.

I guess they realize theyre drawing dead to make the finals yet again so may as well take advantage of this opportunity for some positive attention.

Seadood,

I love ya but your Russ hate is unforgivable.

I like how all the criticisms of Russ are the exact same as MJ until he started winning titles with the best talented roster in the league. Sorry that he's faced like a dozen different playoff teams better than MJ has ever faced. GOAT WIM. GOAT under 6'8. Haters gonna hate. Can't wait for the playoffs.

Except mj was better and obviously easier to build around. Mj never scared off a top 10 all time player in his prime. Mj was so much more efficient than Russ at a higher usage for most of mjs career.

I don't doubt his WIM so much as his IQ. He takes terribly inefficient shots at the expense of the team, and is basically a non-factor when he doesn't have the ball. I'm not the hugest MJ fan ever, but my least favorite type of player has always been the ball-dominant guard because I honestly feel as though he enslaves his teammates by forcing them to react to what he does--he may make them better shooters but I feel like they are worse players on offense for it.

That's a stark contrast from someone like Steph Curry who basically turns himself into a super-duper role-player once he gives up the ball with his screen setting and hunting for ways to create mismatches. That's a gillion times more enjoyable than watching Russ pass the ball and then put his hands on his knees waiting for either something to happen or the opportunity to get the ball back.

Harden is similarly difficult for me to watch but he's sooooo much better at scoring and IQ that it makes him a much better player imo.

[edit] I'm not sure I can even agree with the WIM part after watching him do this in what is the most important game in franchise history. Some of it isn't his fault, but the level of disinterest is the opposite of WIM imo.

The team's offensive performance isn't exactly a problem for Russ regardless of aesthetics. Russ+Durant were only slightly worse than Steph+Durant and the Warriors lineup has Klay whereas the Thunder had Roberson.

Sure he could be a lot better if he made better decisions at times/had better awareness. Just like Steph could be a lot better if he could touch the top of the backboard, Shaq shooting 80% from the FT line, etc.

saying it's not a problem ignoring aesthetics is kinda like saying it could be better

Everything could be better. Appreciate people for who they are, don't hate them for what they're not.

What about hating someone for who they are? That's how I feel after reading that post.

Westbrook is a cancerous piece of garbage to winning and Harden and Durant were very lucky and smart to get away from him

Paul George will also leave.

Another thing I dislike about Russ is that he can't take L's with any dignity. For example on the play below he said he had to guard two people when he clearly lost Gary long before PatPat went down. Stop lying and admit you ****ed up imo.

One of those players has a losing record in the finals with super teams. 3.8 ppg in the 4th quarter in the finals in 2017.

The other has a winning record in the finals.

I remember that either right before the season started or in the beginning of the season Cuban said something along the lines of:

"I wouldn't trade our (2018) first round pick for anyone in the league."

So yeah his punk ass has been planning tanking this season all along.

I say PG13 stays in OKC too. The Lakers are likely transitioning for 2019 free agency to pursue Kawhi afaict. I also say that LeBron re-ups in Cleveland (65% retention chances for them aorn) for 1 more season.

Oh man I would ****ing love it if OKC would snap off the Warriors.

What odds would you give them in a series?

Pretty sure I'll be betting OKC in all their playoff series. Wasn't a believer to start with (they were one of the teams I nominated as overrated in a post at start of year) but I'm pretty impressed with how well RWB and PG have meshed. They don't have the depth of the other teams and I'll want to be getting odds, but think they'll be underrated. They're the epitome of a non-regular-season team IMO. As a Pacers man, I remember how much Playoff Paul George is a thing. He's just not made to be a Batman. Can't wait to see the havoc he causes as RWBs Robin
