On a day where Lebron scores 57.

At some point he might lose to an Eastern Conference team again, but plenty have looked as good as them in the regular season over the last 7 years and most of the time he crushed them.

True, but as a Cavs fan it's pretty sad that Lebron has to basically drop a 57pt triple double just to get a W.

The roster is trash.

He's a transcendent shot misser, with every miss it just powers up his teammates more.

i'm neither saying that cavs won't make the finals or am a celtics fan. it's just clear as day that ISO-KYRIE has been something that's been bailing out the cavs the last few years. Just off the top of my head "the shot" and christmas day. now that Mr. Miracle Maker is gone (and they needed all of him), it seems GS is only going to curbstomp even harder.

i'm a lebron fan but maybe there is something to the fact that kyrie doesn't believe he's second fiddle

Ya not at all anecdotal. The Cavs won more finals games without Kyrie in 2015 than they did in 2017. Doesn’t matter but the implication that he’s been “bailing them out” is hilariously wrong

Are you seriously saying that Lebron getting 2 off the 2015 Warriors and the Cavs getting only 1 off the 2017 Warriors means... that Kyrie's absence isn't going to be a problem?

And I ain't going to dig into the play-by-plays of these games but you're telling me that Kyrie ISO's was one of their strongest weapons?

And where the hell did 2016 go?

All this aside as well, you are saying* Kyrie and specifically his ability to GET BUCKETS against the Golden State Warriors isn't as important as I think?

I think Geoff means it isn't s problem for them to make the finals, but they are screwed unless Jae returns and like 3 Woyas go down with an injury.

well perhaps I should have said that but when I said the cavs are going to have a problem, I didn't mean in the regular. I meant in the only thing that sort of matters and thats GSW. Lebron is going to carry the team to some respectable lost but the one-true outer for them to win was in Kyrie.

IT2 with a good hip will be close, and I have a feeling we will be laughing at ourselves for saying Jae is overrated come April.

Paul Millsap is really good. I can't explain what makes him so effective, but their defense is just worlds better with him on the court. The lineup of Murray/Harris/Chandler/Millsap/Jokic had a nice tidy net rating of +13 (112Ortg/99Drtg) going into last night. Hell even Joker is defending decently now.

[edit] Up to +17 (117/100) now. I'm sure that'll change tomorrow when the Woyas come in and beat snot out of them.

So watch this entire video

I likehow often Lauri abuses guards in the post when they switch to him. He obviously picksNpops a lot, but then when guards switch to him he just heads to the basket and calls for the ball until he gets it for an easy 2. Lauri is going to be such a great offensive weapon his entire career.

Lol. Early November. 43 minutes, ~41 possessions used. Playing a lol Scotty Brooks team.

I mean I know he's juiced to the gills but if you think he can do this for 7 games vs BRAD you're deluded.
