This seasons been the worst as a pistons fan. I'm used to the team sucking but to not even have a draft pick that blows. Blakes garbage id much rather have T.Harris. The only thing I've got hope for outside of binking the top 3 pick in the lotto is we fire SVG at the end of the year.

At least my 2nd and 3rd favorite teams the jazz and clippers seem to be doing well.

The * are the big swing games for me, I put them as 1-3 and feel that's about right. I probably would have put a few more L's if it weren't for Millsap coming back and especially the addition of Devin Harris for their most harmful player Mudiay. They are the only team in the race that got significantly better over the last couple weeks, while MIN/NOP got worse.
Probably time for an update.

It's nice to see two teams still trying really hard at this point in their seasons.

Number of reasons to hate him after tonight's game:

1) he is pushed by Stephenson and should have gotten foul call but fell down and injured Sabonis, he was in serious pain.
2) officially had 8 turnovers but actually had way more. Was so lazy with the ball.
3) was whining and flopping the entire game even though he is gigantic
4) pushed Stephenson for no reason and got a T in what turned out to be a 3 point game
5) was 0 for 5 from 3 and launched some of the ugliest bricks I have ever seen in an NBA game (one wide open 3 hit off the bottom right side of the backboard)
6) finished +1 even though we should have won by a lot if he just didn't give the ball to the other team and play no defense at all on Myles who had 25 points

He ended up having a decent stat night because he injured Sabonis so he then backed Al Jefferson done for like 12 straight points or something. Al Jeff also managed to steal it from him a cpl times. He is playing so goddam bad and the mistakes are completely avoidable. Embiitch.

I was looking through some good ol' fashioned BOX SCORES tonight, and noticed that despite the Raptors waxing the Nets by 14, nobody had a higher +- than +7...except VanVleet with a whopping +31, for a huge +24 over the next best +- on the team.

That got me thinking - I don't know if this is easily searchable or not, but what do you think has been the biggest differential between the highest +- on the team and the 2nd highest?

Speaking of +-, Lonzo had another one of his Lolnzo shooting nights going 2-11, and yet had the highest +- on the team at +18. Must be doing something right.

If Denver wins tonight, I'll have them jumping to 5th to face NURK. Could it get any better than that?
* IF Denver wins I had them jumping to 5th...IF. I didn't think they'd win and even said LAL+2 was the play. Still sucks... Anyway not much changed today by my estimation except Minny picks up an extra win, which actually might benefit Denver because they're crushing everyone's tiebreaker and could rest the last game... Dunno though, right now I have it as:

3) MIN 49-33
4) POR 49-33
5) NOP 46-36
6) OKC 46-36
7) UTA 46-36
8) LAC 45-37
-------------------------------
9) DEN 45-37
5) SAS 44-38

I could easily see Utah picking up a few more W's though, in particular the game against GSW toward the end because they are tanking.

Hornacek really is the worst coach in the league

Dude try to win games by throwing vets in, except they play way worse than rookies and sophomores in the team

He tanks but does not aim for it and he still doesnt play youngs enough minutes

I predicted Denver 44-38 when we first had this discussion. I'm glad to help. Does look like I'm going to sweep our Portland/Denver over/under bets though.

Frank was supposed to become the starter by now or at least get starter's minutes.

Don't worry tho I'm like 90%+ sure that Hornacek is going to get **** canned at the end of the season.

Then Knicks fans just have to fade getting Mark Jackson and hopefully get either Fizdale or Blatt.

Be careful SVG will be on the market

They should just pick a random unkown that worked in Spo or Pop coaching staff

Becky Hammonf Knacks Head Coach would be fun

I liked the part where Jokic got pushed and flopped from the lane to the sideline, then got up like he was gonna fight Julius Randle. I'm sure Julius was terrified.
