Mitchell gets the rebound, clock runs out 95-90 win. But wait! Powell tried to foul as time expired! The refs waive everyone off the court, go to the monitor to watch slow-mo reviews, and then realize that a foul occurred with like .2 seconds left. Line everyone up for free throws, DMitch makes both, and it's a 97-90 win.

Anyone know what the spread was?

You forgot how they had the ball in the front court and didn't really need the timeout to begin with.

Lakers should cut IT when Lonzo gets back. Or limit him to a 15 minute per game bench role. It's just too demoralizing for these young guys trying to learn to play team D together to cover for him all the time, and he hogs the ball like it is Boston still. Can't really blame him for that as it is the only thing he is good at.

Just cut him now. He's nothing but a hobbled ornery midget now.

He wouldn't even be able to thrive in the G League.

I discovered that there is an indoor basketball court that is often totally empty during certain hours at my YMCA.

I have to say, having a private full court basketball court in your house has to be one of the potentially cooler things of being super rich.

Just an awesome feeling.

this is truth, esp "GSW had everything in the world fall right for them the first year they won the title"

cavs stomp them without injuries to irving and love. the next year proved it. ultimately, its not a big deal bc 1 title or 2 is whatever. its just annoying that warriors and their fans act so entitled and superior.

I watched the Zaza thing from a different angle. Definitely not good. I wouldn't say it was an attempt to injure Westbrook, but it certainly looks like he flopped on westbrook to prevent him from rejoining the play on the other end. It was arguably a dangerous play, and certainly not a basketball play. I'd be OK with a short suspension.

Meh. Warriors might have won a final without the best team (barring injuries), but they definitely lost a final when they were the better team. Strictly on talent, two titles so far seems like the median expectation.

As for the whining, Durant is the one who is pissing me off. Draymond has always been a hothead. He's like Rasheed. If you traded him to the Suns, he would still lead the league in techs. It's irritating to watch but it's in his DNA.

Durant, on the other hand, seems like he has deliberately decided to get more techs and ejections because he has decided that it doesn't matter, either because it's the regular season or because the Warriors can't possibly lose.

Meh, if you look closely it looks like Swaggy Ps foot hooks behind Zazas knee. Seems like nothing and another case of people defaulting to moral outrage without even trying to understand.

NBA should have some flexibility with these ABC matchups. It's the same teams on all the time, Cavs/Spurs/Warriors/Rockets/Celtics/Thunder.

Who really wants to see the LMA-Spurs right now? Toss Bucks/Pels in there and let the country see some new young superstars in Giannis/Brow. Guess it doesn't matter too much but mix it up, jeez.

With the exception of his final year in Boston, IT has never been that great. For almost all of his career, he has been ball-dominant, inefficient, and a bad defender.

I will give them this. They are clearly better than the worst teams in the east.

He has a 58% career ts percentage and last year at 62.5% was amazing but 58 percent is still amazing for a guard. He was good his last four seasons, I think you’re misremembering his stats and play. His d has always sucked but that’s not as big of an issue for a pg. he’s 53rd all time in scoring efficiency and he’s probably the shortest of the top 53.
