saw this on Reddit, couldn't believe it
Guy is revitalizing his career this year, though Klay rather than Steph is a better comp on the offensive end. Gordon launches from anywhere and is scarily accurate, plus has the ability to fake and drive as well. He's the primary ball handler for our second unit. So lucky we signed him long term, would not be surprised if he gets a max as his next contract if he continues at this level. He's only 27, believe it or not.

EGordon is just another cog in the D'Antoni System.

Hearing today that Festus Ezeli is going to undergo season-ending knee surgery. Well, there goes that. Thanks Festus.

Sounds like you could use a Nerlens Noel or Jahlil Okafor.

Any ideas on the draft pick value of Noel? Top-5 protected 1st rd?

Okafor? Top-7 protected?

I'd imagine it's nothing close to that, I'd be shocked if anyone would give up anything lotto related to either knowing the Sixers have to move one or both of them. Sixers will def be prioritising a player vs a pick anyway I'd say.

Should have traded Nerlol before the season started before he tanked his value

Hinkie likely would have dealt him before the season.

RIP The Process

I'd also like to lol at Nerlol for bitching about pt a whopping 2 games (!!!) after coming back from a major knee surgery in October considering he's always been the pillar of health.

Saw something that GMs were getting scared off of pursuing Noel because of off-court stuff, his attitude, whatever the **** he did to that rental house, those type of things. I'd like to think if better behavior resulted in me having excellent opportunities to make millions of $ more, I'd SHAPE UP.

Gary Harris obviously MVP.

Plica removal is super minor knee surgery. My mother had her plica removed and ran a half marathon later that same month at age 58. Nerl was supposed to be out for 3 weeks and had the surgery in October.

It was an elective surgery too, which he then chose to his rehab away from the team so my feeling has always been they said to go and get it done if he wants and they'd work out a deal for him to go somewhere in the meantime so they didn't run into this exact situation.

Even if the Sixers trade Nerlens or Okafor they still have a glut.

Embiid:"I thought we had a bad defensive game. I'm the type of guy, if I play defense, I want everybody around me to do the same."

Embiid: "I think the offense is kind of too focused on the post play instead of just playing basketball."

I wonder who those comments are aimed at?

CJ for Noel or there about seems interesting
12-18-2016 , 01:49 PM
Noel doesn't have nearly that value imo
12-18-2016 , 06:30 PM
Per Brett Brown: Nerlens Noel is out of the rotation for the foreseeable future
12-18-2016 , 06:34 PM
So much for man of action Bryan Collangalo coming in to mend PR relations and to be more transparent.
12-18-2016 , 06:47 PM
On the plus side, Nerlol is no longer an 8 minute per game player

i had the same thought - kinda works for both teams since portland has so much money comitted to wings anyway. i don't think cj has much superstar upside but he's def in the mould of what the sixers need

probably true but imo his true value > his market value atm, def a buyers market for him

idk what most people think but i'm still pretty optimistic that he can be a very good player

Portland moving cj seems like a good idea, its a great value contract but they aren't close to being contenders and might get forced into maxing him (maybe the new cba will change some of this analysis)

he might be a good fit w/ wolves and a championship timeline w towns.. maybe a trade involving wiggins could work, though its hard to say as they may throw in the towel on rubio at some point

Portland doesn't need to be in a hurry but is in the fairly tough spot of being stuck solidly in the mediocre tier despite having a top talent in dame

Noel switching agents. Trade him and okafor

Does anyone else find it terrifying watching Embiid move? He has a weird gait that makes me feel he's a minor accident away from a big injury again. Touch wood of course, but feels like there's no way his knees/legs are going to stay healthy.

To be honest, I feel the same way about Porzingis. Their legs just don't seem like they are under them solid.
