He even looks at a person that it's plausible to pass to and draws the D that way. Lebron would throw the pass and then turn and pretend he was looking at the half-court line.
He had another one too, he's usually good for one of those a game but that was his best this year:
It's at about 1:04. Watch him freeze CJ, I wonder if he skips it to the corner if CJ commits. Any normal human wouldn't be able to adjust on the fly like that but Jokic has some supreme hand/eye coordination.. Just look at all the different angles he shoots from. Sometimes he takes a set shot in traffic, sometimes a floater, sometimes a high-arcing hook, all dependent on the opponent.
At a quick glance, Bird was nowhere near the 3 pt volume and efficiency of Durant but that may have been a product of his era. Worse peak than KD as well. Better passing and rebounding though. Always tough to compare eras
A true no look pass, not a Lebron "I turn my head after seeing my teammates for the highlight"
It's a sick pass, but Jokic can see Faried almost the entire time. You can see this from other angles below.
Faried's the one who passes to Jokic, and then Faried runs right in front of Jokic's face, waving his arm and calling for the ball. Jokic is looking at Faried as he runs by, and Jokic just stays looking in that direction, and can probably still see Faried in the corner of his eye when he makes the pass.
Faried makes the whole play happen, with his defender asleep trailing behind him the whole play. Jokic still makes a super sick pass, it's just probably not a true no look. Still props to all involved.

you guys do realize that players aren't precogs right? In every no-look pass the passer has to have seen cutter at some point
It's not just "at some point," he can see him almost the entire play, likely including the moment he initiated the pass. That's all. Still a great pass, not trying to belabor the point.

Right but tons of times guys (LBJ/Steph stick out to me) look where they're passing and then last second swing their head the other direction as they make the pass to make it look like a no-look. Also a lot of times the no look aspect of the pass doesn't affect the play like on a 3 on 1 fast break or something. Jokic obviously saw him, but looking at the other guy actually held the defender who had to choose where to rotate in his spot that extra second which helped make Faried's finish easier.

yeah, I realize that a few guys do that (LBJ does do it a lot), but precisely because this pass was a great counter example I found it a bit picky to be pointing out that Jokic saw Faried, carry on.
